Thank you for this, it has me super pumped for this weekend, I'm doing a 24-hour writing intensive this week in hopes of getting past some sticking points in my draft. I loved getting a look at your process and I can't wait for part two. (And to hopefully meet you at BookNet!!!)

It's really helpful to get an inside look at your process. I am working on my first book now and I just know I'm going to like revising more than drafting...

For me, revising is waaaaay easier/ more exciting than drafting- there is just somethig about having an entire blank page to fill versus just polishing what I've just written that seems more appealing to me! But hey! Everyone's writing process is different & totally valid! :D

Now I see how you got so stressed out. Loved the vlog. Yassss!!! Mission Impossible is so good.

Hey Alexa, I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate these particular vlogs! I would love to see more of them. I am doing my first round of edits on my book and watching this, seeing what you were going through helps me feel like having a lot to change is not abnormal or bad. I think especially when you have just written your first book you’re not really sure what “normal” is! I feel like I am in the editing trenches right beside you. Thank you so much for giving me a little more courage through it is a somewhat difficult process!
