Kelly Clarkson - EDITED Vs. UNEDITED high notes (C#5 - C6)

It really makes no difference for her vocals whether or not her performances are edited. The only exception might be her Sober performance at Live Earth in 2007. They put the rehearsal's vocals over the actual performance's vocals in the official video because her voice was really cracking in the climax.

Kelly is absolutely phenomenal but I will say seeing her live it made me, as a singer, feel grateful to know she is human. When things went slightly sharp or flat I realized there’s pitch correction on the show and I thought, thank God, it happens to her as well. Haha

Beautiful and the Kelly show was not edited. I know for a fact.

She definitely doesn't need any editing! Her voice is perfect as it is, and I actually love hearing the (very VERY) slight imperfections in her unedited performances. It adds such emotion to her singing. It kind of makes me sad that they pitch correct her voice on her show. It removes some of the raw emotion 😢

I mean obviously they both sound great to me but I prefer the unedited version more. Like the live and unedited version sounds so much more raw, gritty, and seems to have so much more emotion I love it! Obviously belting is her comfortable area and it sounds so good! *Either way she sounds good idk what I'm saying, both versions eat down and I love her*❤
