Introducing the Roland TD-07 Series V-Drums

Sadly cannot afford this high end Roland model, I bet the mesh sure feel nice. Still using my td4kp non mesh type 😊 hopefully in the future.

Whenever you finish playing a groove you have to do that I won movement 😂

cross sticking , adding/ downloading drum sounds? , brushes ?

Was about to pull the trigger on this one and after doing some research, went with the td17! 07 is still a good kit don't get me wrong, but it'll limit you quite a bit once you get serious about it or already an experienced drummer. Was surprised how limited the snare and toms are plus the quality of the pedals. The td17 was on sale and just about 100 usd higher than the 07.

note: it was my first foray into electric drum kits so when i went to the shop, this is what i saw :) i have an acoustic at home already and just wanted one that I could play even with the baby sleeping :)

I ordered the TD-07DMK over the TD-1DMK because of the module; as a beginner, it has everything I'd need.
I'll see how I do. Still waiting for it to arrive... I'm excited!

A couple of questions: I'm 185cm tall, does it fit my height?
If I wanted to use it with a double pedal, is the TD-07MDK model or the TD-07KV more suitable?

Can anyone tell me if there are cross stick sounds on this TD-07 module, and are they on every one of the drum kits / snare sounds? I have the TD1 module and only have cross stick sound on one of the kits in there... 😥

Hello Roland I own the TD 27kv I’d love start video recording my drum covers for educational purposes and I’d like to know what software drivers and operative systems from a laptop is needed in order to accomplish this goal.

quick question for the play-along-via-bluetoith thingy...does it actually work with tracks from streaming platforms like spotify or do i need to "own" a track?

Don't like the small bass-pad / also the extra basepedal cost an extra 200 euro... not the best. the TD-17/ TD-27 is much, much better.

Can any of the electronic snares be used with brushes?

This video helps massively but theres one thing i disagree with: the fact that i have to supply my own hardware. If you ask me every drum kit manufacturer (whether ite Roland Alesis or even acoustics like gretsch DW or pearl) should come with a pair of drumsticks and a throne, moving specifically onto Roland drums lets say if i were to purchase the Roland TD07DMK in the perfect world it would come with a drum throne pair of drumsticks headphones and a kick pedal at an unwavering price, i get it maybe a benefactor of spending more but drumming stuff is already so so expensive so in fairness i shouldnt have to make expenses on any additional equipment

Hi I am buying this set and bringing it on a plane, do you think this will fit on a big suitcase? Mostly I am worried about the rack height, will the longer stick of the rack fit on a suitcase?

Just found out that Roland changed the controller in the latest TD-07 taking off the main output jacks so the drums cannot be connected to a sound system! Roland! What were you thinking!? That was not very smart! I'm telling you - put it back on there! Just Dumb!

Is having that single output connection on the TD-07 affect the sound quality? I plan to purchase one for live performance and will be connected to a digital mixer
