If only Calc 2 didn’t have to be so hard

bro wdym most people couldn't pass it??? i'm in precal and haven't touched limits in class, but THAT WAS EASY.

As a 13 year old 7th grader, I had no Idea calc. Is this easy. I've been studying it for 2½ months for now. Easy 3/3

3/3, i tried learning calculus recently and the questions are pretty easy so i would say its very doable

This is pretty easy

The only thing I got correct was 64 = 8² I didn't even factor

This is just limits doe. No derivatives or integrals to make it an actual calculus quiz

Now, I am still in middle school, but can anyone tell me why for the third question we factor the x^2 - 8^2 and then we calculate? Instead, can't we just solve the x^2 - 64, which will be 0, and then x-8, which is also 0?

I'm not sure the last one is correct. If we replace x with 8, the (x-8)/(x-8) that has been cancelled becomes 0/0. I'm not familiarise with limits though, so maybe in this situation doing that is acceptable.

The first question is actually wrong. The limit doesn't exist, because for this limit to exist, the value at the limit point needs to match. (This limit existing is equivalent to the function being continuous at that point, which clearly isn't the case, so the limit doesn't exist)
