Video games show constant improvement, like this dynamic is never gonna end. Yet, the marginal improvement is gonna be lower and lower as we get closer to 100% photorealistic graphics.
At best, what will be possible to improve then will be the resolution, until it's so high that human eyes can't see any difference by pushing it higher.
