This Longines from 1970 was an interesting project. First of all it was pretty clean inside, I could find a little bit of dried oil but pretty much there was no oil in it. And also a crucial part was missing, the jewel to the balance wheel. This is why the ticking was so uneven.
When the watch was finished restoring it turned out to be in very good condition. Not that much of wear could be seen in it. I guess it hasn't been used that much.
Thank you for watching, take care!
Stunning mate! You my friend are doing a fine work
ОтветитьBest watch repair site anywhere. All your tools and equipment are so interesting to see them being used by such capable hands. Thanks
ОтветитьThanks for bringing these back to life.
It is really appreciated !
Cool watch
ОтветитьSandpaper wasn't necessarily.
ОтветитьPerfect
ОтветитьI just wonder how he remembers which parts come one after another
ОтветитьMaster
Ответитьso amazing the history circle and square watches of the past tells us and can find out many things and what might have happened to them inside from what's cleaned up
ОтветитьTo much oil on pivots.
Ответить😎
ОтветитьWhat microscope are you using, please?
ОтветитьI'm always wondering what is the point of creating a square watch⁉ 🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьLongines is a Swiss or French brand ?
ОтветитьTime is a dead god Shiva 🌷🌑👍 rest in the good news 💐 Okay bye

Ответитьsubscribed!!! you are like my favorite channel now. you gotta start shooting in 4K so we can see the shape of the dirt you remove!! 🤣 i'm sitting here with my bedtime snack, Greek blueberry yogurt, scoop of protein powder and on the side, sunflower seeds watching this; it's like an episode of Mission Impossible! 😥🤯😜you have one of the most unique skillsets i've ever seen. i mean, fuk, is there any watch you don't know how to disassemble, clean, restore (repair) and reassemble? 🤔😱😉 please keep making these videos, PLEASE!!!!! 🙏👍 k

ОтветитьUn placer ver estos relojes
ОтветитьCan you send me a vintage watch
Ответитьhaha staking tool… 😅 i’ve had that thought but seems like overkill.
ОтветитьThank you for the video, and all the explanations ! I’ve learned at least one reason why and how to use a staking tool …👍
ОтветитьReally is a beautiful watch!
ОтветитьWhy have you changed the barrel?
ОтветитьHej! 😀
ОтветитьNice video. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьSnyggt jobbat!
ОтветитьReminds me of a more modern Cartier "Tank"
ОтветитьÓTIMO TRABALHO PROFISSIONAL, VERY GOOD 👍👍👍 🇧🇷
ОтветитьHello ! How much did you charge for this job ? Nice vidéo keep up the good work !
ОтветитьImpressive work. Your patience makes me calm. Love the tools and your scetch for explaining the procedure. Got some pulse while grinding the glass. Nice when finished. 👍
ОтветитьFantastic work, really enjoyed this. What camera do you use for this? It's so detailed.
ОтветитьThank you for the wonderful video. The no-talking, music, ASMR approach is highly appreciated.
ОтветитьExcellent video. But first you tapped the barrel bridge and made the hole small. Then you filed the hole gently so that the arbor will fit exactly. Am I right? Good technique rather than changing the barrel bridge which may not be available.
ОтветитьGood job on a very nice watch
Ответитьafter watching this video....
i think i need a staking set asap :)))
Who doesn't like hammer time? 👍 and paper planes! Nice job on the filming and over all production of the clip as well as the watch itself :).
ОтветитьThat was filmed very well. Thank you for your video.
