ОтветитьReally good episode as always
ОтветитьHere to the end, incredible insight as always.
ОтветитьFor discipline I just had to honest with myself…..I took accountability for my weight and I started telling myself “you want to be fit, but you don’t want it more than you want to eat crappy food”
Once your desire to be fit outweighs your desire to eat crap….youll succeed.
Be honest with yourself, you want it but not enough to stop your destructive behavior.
Promise it comes from love, but you have to give yourself tough love
I always OVERestimate my calorie intake and I UNDERestimate my calories burned.
ОтветитьI ran everyday for a month and a half but I started to feel pain on both my ankles though i have really good shoes... Could that be because i put too much stress on my body, or could it be because of bad posture ?
ОтветитьHere at the halfway point, love this style of vid for sure! So much to take from these answers
ОтветитьGotta go with the deadlift as the kinggggg of movements though!
ОтветитьThat was the best & clearest explanation I’ve ever heard on how to maintain solid physique/muscle mass while endurance training & strength training.

Ответитьi do hypertrophy training and i have noticed that the following day of a workout there are two different outcomes. Either the muscle(s) trained the day before will be swollen and inflamed looking, OR they will be smaller looking. Whats the reason behind this? Is one a better signal than the other?
ОтветитьBasically everything that could go wrong at work today did and I just wanted to go to bed after getting home but I put on this episode and went out for a walk and who'd thought - I feel a lot better. Gonna get some water in and then make a high protein salad when I get home and tomorrow I'm gonna start the day with a run before the exam I'm stressing for. Thank you for everything you do and share and thank you for the video. It helps so much, honestly.
ОтветитьGreat stuff! I have a question for you. I am training to run a Marathon in Fall '24 (basically couch to marathon) and have been recently taking care of myself more. Been on my weight loss journey since March of 2023 after a lot of yo-yo dieting since I was in highschool. I am down from 305 to 195 this week.
My question: I am wondering about rest days. I currently have a full body split in the gym on M-W-F and run on TU-TH-SA-SU. This means I essentially have no full rest days. What are your thoughts on this? Should I combine a run with a gym day and take a full day off, would this yield better results? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
Thank you sir!

ОтветитьYou’re killing it dude, keep the content coming
ОтветитьThis might be my favorite video from you so far. The questions you answered were very broad which means your answers can apply to a large variety of people. I started my fitness journey recently, and you and @Baxate have helped me a tremendous amount. Keep up the great work and I feel blessed to have found you guys so early in my self improvement journey. Part 2 in the future? :)

BTW, I really would love to see you on Mind Pump or Industrial Strength. I know that involves them inviting you, but if they do, DO IT! The way you keep taking sips reminds me of Joe Defranco taking sips of "wada!" Loving it!
