Errigation was practiced in Egypt in 3100 BC.

ОтветитьDoesn't get much better than this for me. Please make as many videos as you can sir! You are a legend.
ОтветитьI love your music
ОтветитьKill the creepy soundtrack. It's badly mixed over the audio and I can barely hear you speak. It got so bad I had to stop watching, which is a shame, because the footage and story is interesting.
ОтветитьBarstow and sherwood..yikes. Those are something else. Been there before and its a little eerie
ОтветитьFor some reason I expected the children of the corn to come out.
ОтветитьCool. Could’ve done without the nails on a chalkboard background music.
Ответитьcool

ОтветитьGD you're good at Road Life. This streak might just be your best stuff. Keep it up brotha!
ОтветитьThe background music is too much on this one.
ОтветитьOhh yeah. I remember hearing about this place and thinking "lol".
ОтветитьWe can't stop here, this is pigeon country
ОтветитьNot the friendliest dogs, but definitely the happiest. off topic rant i know but one thing as a dog owner i noticed comparing living in the boonies of the desert and now living in a city in ohio,
I feel bad for my dogs. They are so, SOOO less free.
They would get up to so much shenanigans out there in the wilderness and always had home base.
Now they just stuck at home base.
Feel kinda like i did them wrong.
Chill desert explorer Tom Green is honestly all time best Tom Green in my book. I love his ghostly backtrack vibes too.
ОтветитьWhat is this music too dramatic tom. say hello to seth he is a very nice guy
Ответитьput your face on the front of that town so the town doesnt go anywhere. and the mayor isnt sure to move because theres a guys face on the town. and they need to go but the guys face is on the front of the town and they are not sure.

Anyone else catch that Free Mason symbol on the building?
Ответить“We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. I remember saying something like "I feel a bit lightheaded; maybe you should drive...." And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas.”
- Hunter S. Thompson
How awesome to see what the place actually looks like :D
Abandoned towns with Tom Green is a thing i didn't know i needed

ОтветитьI was born in Tom Green county
ОтветитьIt's tom green. Most awesome person ever. Who would have guessed. Love it 😊
ОтветитьTom was a pioneer of the modern age. Doesn't get enough credit in my opinion.
ОтветитьTom Green for mayor of Tom Green county
ОтветитьEntropy in action. i love it, I have no idea why I find decaying towns so interesting.
ОтветитьLove the video. Hate the background music. Thank you.
ОтветитьSorry we missed ya
ОтветитьThanks Tom for this experience. It's quite similar here in Oklahoma. My parents grew up in small, country, railroad towns. As I was told by my elders, most towns in Texas and Oklahoma sprouted up around railroad stops. When the railroads pulled up tracks and left, most of these small to medium sized towns have eventually turned out like the towns Tom was visiting.
ОтветитьI was expecting him to do something weird, crazy or funny. Different and interesting side to Tom.
ОтветитьI was recently in Tom Green County Texas and I had to see for myself if you and Charlie visited.
ОтветитьCool to see TG. It's been a while.
ОтветитьRuined by the music.
ОтветитьSuper cool vid, amazing seeing old towns … church and baseball fields etc …
ОтветитьBarstow did not invent irrigation,it was first used in the Jordan valley in the middle east as early as 6000 BC. So you're only off by about eight thousand years and several thousand kms😂.
ОтветитьSpooky looking town cool
ОтветитьPretty sure they had irrigation in ancient Egypt so that Barstow guy must have been pretty old man, to have invented it.
ОтветитьWhere's the lebaron, huh? Your daddy bought it for you.
