On May 1, 1999, the Voices of Doo Wop, also known as the Morrisania Revue, performed at Hostos College, City University of New York, in the South Bronx, New York. Veteran Bronx performers from groups including the Mellows, Cadillacs, Wrens, Crickets, Halos and others teamed in various configurations for this show. In this film, shared from the archives of the late Arthur Crier, Bobby Mansfield, original lead singer of the Wrens, sings "Dearest Darling", first recorded by Crier's group, the Chimes, in 1953. Crier, Waldo Champen and Eugene Tompkins round out the harmony.
