I found you recently, subscribed, and have already watched several of your videos. There's a Dark Souls challenge-runner who coined the title of (and refers to himself as) a 'Patience Elemental'. You, sir, i believe have also earned that title. Hours and hours of dedication, of frustration, until you finally clutch victory. I commend you for your unwillingness to quit.

I remembered doing 1 playthrough on dishonored high chaos during a blackout where i lived so i was at my moms bf house on his system, then wanted to platinum the game b4 leaving so I did a never seen, no powers, no kills, retrieve my equipment run on my 2nd playthrough without a guide. So that was Ghost, Shadow, Mostly flesh & steel, Specter, Clean hands, This is mine, Just dark enough all in 1 shot 😂. Biggest pain in my ass was the 6 hrs spent trying to get past those pos assassins i think in the flooded area after they take your shit 😒 no matter what they would see me as i made it out the balcony.

Worst of all was i forgot this wasn't my Playstation 😑 id have to go home & do this all over again!

I do a bunch of baking, once you've memorized a few recipes by heart there's actually not allot of precision. Most recipes can be modified and done by rough estimate. In fact today i made about 3 pounds of banana bread without measuring anything other than the flour, but otherwise only remembering what the ingredients were not how much there was supposed to be.

Dishonored was my introduction to immersive sims and helped open my eyes to unorthodox solutions in games.
Here's a fun fact for anybody deciding to return to Dishonored. In the flooded district there's a train car full of bodies running from one end to the other. If you stop time you can easily make your way up to it and ride it all the way out. There's a wall of light at the far end but if you make it through you're almost entirely through the mission in just a minute or two.

I despise your cheery do-goodery and have been putting vitriol out into the world to counteract your positive influence. I will make sure people hate themselves as much as I hate myself. We will all be alone, but some of us more than others.

i did this run myself, inspired by your VODs and learning from your mistakes and the other observations i've made from occasionally being slightly obsessed with Dishonored. i intentionally snuck upstairs in Lady Boyle's Last Party to get the key, but only grabbed the basement vault key and forgot the skeleton key. when i realised, halfway through Return to the Tower, i just redid Lady Boyle's Last Party instead of dealing with the key bullshit. i still struggled with Return to the Tower, however, because the overseer who gave you so much trouble left his room and trapped his dog's head in the door, so i couldn't do very much without being spotted by it. i also forgot that i could have just gone to the broadcast centre from the ground floor. i didn't realise that no thrown objects was a rule and i don't know if i broke it because i wasn't keeping track. i did use a grenade to kill the rats menacing the woman trapped in a basement in The Royal Physician, but that was because A) i had no reason to save her other than i would feel bad not doing and 2) i could have just as easily but slightly more slowly killed them all with my sword as the ate they corpse i used as bait.

fun things:
when you struggled with getting past the guards at the prison entrance, you can climb some pipes to get into the room where you put the explosive without opening the door between the rooms, which is a lot less painful
as in the comment i left on the first VOD, i just let Geoff kill Campbell because it just saves a lot of hassle and i don't like Campbell
i also forgot an important part of House of Pleasure, but in my case it was returning to Slackjaw with the code to Bunting's safe
i had to turn the wheels in the Royal Physician off and on again because, for some reason, the first time i turned them off i couldn't get through the gaps
i accidentally killed Lady Boyle at least once by having her over my shoulder as i jumped over the railings in the basement to deliver her to Bunting, because for some reason it makes you drop her and the fall is enough to kill her
you can actually get onto the roof of the lock in Return to the Tower by jumping from a loudspeaker onto some weird geometry and, despite the noise the loudspeaker makes as it swings, the guard won't necessarily even hear it
there's a guard in Return to the Tower who carries whale oil who will apparently drop it even if he just hears you sprinting, blowing himself and a civilian up
you could have knocked everyone out with the arc pylon before getting the note from the bar in The Loyalists, saving yourself a headache
and, finally, Campbell didn't try to kill me when i took the key? maybe he killed you for being impolite and grabbing the key before he finished speaking? idk

Dishonored has to be one of my absolute favorite series of stealth/action games ever. The story and environments in the first game were pretty good but the sequels did better with their gameplay. Both I love for different reasons.

You found the one game in which the protagonist is just too stubborn and his ankles too solid to let you Spuddy yourself...Im not sure if I am disappointed or amazed.

I actually like the idea of Corvo getting powers but holding them back in order in order to hide his true capabilities. Like, after the betrayal, imagine him thinking to himself, “alright, now I show you what I can do”

Well i'll be damned, i thought i was the only person who decides to brute force the vaults in these games. Who would've thought?

I really wish i could've actually caught the streams, but sadly school, family and other crap loves to get in the way a lot
