The most reassuring part of your lecture for me was when you said, "to be honest, it never gets boring." That is one of the most important things for me, as a psych undergrad interested in forensic psychology. I too find criminal behavior particularly fascinating.
ОтветитьI really appreciate this
ОтветитьA little wrong about the criminal profiling part. They actually said it was a black male for the Atlanta killings but the press didn’t like that (couldn’t accept it wasn’t the Klan), however I get his point that it can be inaccurate.
ОтветитьUmmm… No. This guy is just making stuff up. They did NOT profile the Atlanta Child Killer as a "white guy blah blah blah." They actually profiled him as an African American man in his mid 20's. Which is who it was. …… This guy is pathetic and literally just making things up as he goes along.
ОтветитьCould you minimize more or be more lenient towards sexual violator's, and more flipant about it like it's no big deal? You must not be a parent? God help us all if your an expert and helping Judges decide anything especially in divorces/family court.
40 minutes in and I can't tolerate another second of your coddling of sex offenders any age.
"Only 3 offenses for flashing" should they be locked up forever? YES Obviously! like it's no big deal or anything? It might cause some trauma to the victims?
There's 40 minutes totally wasted I'll never get back.
Duude learn to speak. This dude's lack of intelligence is straight annoying.
ОтветитьThe video title is not correct: CSI is forensic science not psychology. To be a CSI (Crime Scene Investigator) you have to study for a degree in science not psychology. Of course psychology, and its allied areas, play a major part in the solving of crimes, just differently from a CSI.
ОтветитьThere are MANY cases where "flashers" behavior/violence escalated to murder. One example is the Golden State killer.
ОтветитьI'm a Canadian planning to pick forensic psychology in future and the part where he mentioned Canada being "miles ahead" in research just locked it in for me 😆
ОтветитьThis is good for beginners of criminal studies pretty basic stuff but
Ответитьjourney into darkness by john e douglas is a real good book on first hand profiling of serial killers
ОтветитьHad to throw some stupid partisanship in there because academia.
ОтветитьSo fun. Listening this lecture on a Saturday night. what a good date I'm having with Dr. Jeffery Kieliszewski.
ОтветитьThank you for posting this 💛💙🙏
ОтветитьCould anyone that's studying and aiming to be a forensic psychologist please reply to this comment? I really need advice on something so I would like to ask some questions
ОтветитьI believe in forensic physiology . Im amazed by the human brains! Psychiatrists just need interesting objects to observe, evaluate....
ОтветитьYou know doesn’t exist good/ bad... just legal/ illegal ... only ones that count
ОтветитьNo, Jack Ruby "silenced" Lee Harvey Oswald, the ALLEGED killer of J.F.K., which has NEVER been satisfactorily proven, despite what mainstream media, the Warren Commission, the FBI and the CIA want you to believe... Oswald DID talk, by the way. He ALSO VEHEMENTLY DENIED killing President Kennedy, which actually goes AGAINST the grain of assassins' usually TAKING CREDIT for said assassinations. Look it up...
ОтветитьThis guy is an embarrassment to the profession.
ОтветитьMy daughter wants to be a forensic psychologist and is a rising senior in high school. As she looks at colleges, are there any that would best prepare her AND what should be her major? Of course psychology is what we are thinking, but we are hearing there are other pathways. Syracuse University has a great Forensic Science program that she would love to apply to, or she can major in criminology. I would love to hear your thoughts, advice. Thank you.
ОтветитьWhat an incredible lecture! Taking a forensic psych course, and this was so interesting! Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьI believe just the basic premise of profiling is sound. The problem is very few people can think out of the box and they account for the unexpected or anomalies.
Ответить11 minutes in and captivated. A great speaker who keeps things interesting from the start. Thanks Dr Jeffrey.
ОтветитьThe babysitter lit her own house on fire because supervising the child was her responsibility. Im so sick of people blaming the children for their negligence. If you want to deny these kids of most of their rights and freedoms because there is a unanimous consensus that they can not be trusted to make reasonable decisions as a result of their lack of development then you have no right to blame them when they do exactly what you expected because it is your job to make sure it doesnt happen. How can you teach them to take responsibility for their actions when you are incapable of it yourself. Kids don't commit crimes, they're the victims of them. Pay attention to your kids and stop blaming them for your failures and maybe they wouldn't be out breaking the law.
ОтветитьShould also study "How Liars Lure Their Victims".
ОтветитьThank you loved every minute!
ОтветитьForensic Psychology is a great degree to pursue, but, most wont make it over a year after school. Especially when you deal with criminals. Make sure this isint just a degree you want, its a degree your mind can handle.
Ответитьexplain, please, to me how walkng around with neeples showing through sheer clothes is NOT flashing?! I do not want to see it, I do not want my kid to see it, I do not consider it innocent and not a big deal... why is it becoming a norm to flash this way.. ???
ОтветитьHoly Cow! Ruby shot Kennedy? We can finally put that whole mess behind us. Lol
ОтветитьYou are a douchebag for the republican comment
ОтветитьJack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald, not Kennedy. Ooopsy.
ОтветитьYour lecture was very interesting even though I am not a forensic student but a mature aged person who has worked with a cross section of people in the health and the care sector. I have an interest in why people do the things they do. I have found with younger people that they are more often victims of crime and then go on to emulate the behaviours inflicted on them. There is little support for these people even in many Western Cultures and perhaps Northern European countries are at least more on the right track somewhat like Norway and Sweden. Alternately in the West nothing much is done when people go through the justice process only to behave worse and worse and cycle repeats itself. I do wander though why women often get harsher sentences for the same or lesser crimes as men. A lot of crime has to do with power dynamics. People do things because they can. We bathe so much in scientific jargon like fetishising stuff and give it the disease label. The Psychopathic personality is more common in men and is rather reduced in the female population. Just a thought. Quite often the same crimes are committed over and over until a total disaster happens and people saw it coming, just not the courts or Psychiatrists.
ОтветитьI'm a junior in highschool wanting to take forensic psychology as my field of choice, I gotta say the Dr is really funny and this looks super interesting!
ОтветитьNo psychology of judges? They're often very sick, even the CJ. I wanna be a flasher.
ОтветитьThis was amazing!!!!
ОтветитьThis guy is judgemental and places certain ppl in categories and assuming they are the way they are based on politics is a complete moron. Useless. Thinks he is smart
ОтветитьJustice is a continuum.
All unclear cases are rooted into misleading evidence prearanged before the crime-time.
Juvenile competency was forcibly lost before developing, only the camera was intercepted, by interest group against democracy. Just one case requires interdisciplinary research, for each of unclear cases to get finished.
Sir My Self Dharmender Singh Private Forensic Expert But Studiing Further I am an Indian andHelping Hand Of Indian Police
ОтветитьOh, are you sure sir, the insane is free of obstacles, maybe it is very strong when it is aimed at people who are economically weak, they are indeed susceptible to mental illness, but what about the crazy people who only obscure their condition, it seems that sometimes they are crazy for a moment and become a blessing when their evil deeds are known, but they are very intelligent, meet physical, biological, primary and secondary needs, even super-rich, how can this motive be revealed, does it need to be reviewed
ОтветитьI think it will be a lot of crazy people who save large amounts of money with crazy status
ОтветитьOkay, if a criminal incident occurs, if it should be at the scene of the crime or both before or after the occurrence of a criminal act / criminal event and the police must set up a body and sterilize it with its discretion as an agency, but suppose the police ask about the incident between the perpetrators of the conflict, it is still an operational standard, but if it is shifted now, if it is shifted if the police are under pressure from the community or superiors or The mental and emotional pressure is very far proportional from his duty by only questioning one perpetrator among the two people who are in conflict and has even drawn early conclusions to decide which is wrong and right, there are also good regulations when carried out in the field
Ответитьit's a mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad, mad world !!!!!
ОтветитьU.S intelligence overseas involved my father, a filipino navy recruiter who was married to a black woman during the 1980's. Their relationship was intruded and both their relationship and my child development was defiled through U.S intelligence who also evaluated our logic and behavior. U.S intelligence began monitoring behavior and influencing behaviors by assigning parents to covert devices for my parents to receive their specific instructions from U.S intelligence who providing my parents instructions to have me improperly influenced.
U.S intelligence gathered enough information through eavesdropping and hacking to form a homicidal operation that involves a non-confrontational operations that takes various non-confrontational approaches to inflict paranoia & mental triggers. By monitoring behavior and logic U.S Intelligence becomes "Enabler & Reprimand" to contain their abuse towards homicide by mocking, mimic copying mirroring behavior as a form of human control on suspects or threats.
-THE CIA DID PURPOSELY ARRANGE AND MARITAL AFFAIR FOR THE MY FATHER TO REMOVE ANY ASSOCIATION TO BLACKS.
My mom was taken advantage and followed inner ear communications from her CIA devices to support influential instructions that would result in carefully criminalizing and assisting in preparation to influence a homcide through years of situations and scenarios that provided U.S intelligence insight and familiarity of behavior & logic.
This has provided the U.S Intelligence to be apply their patronizing tactics and mental triggers that would involve homicide without physical confrontation.
U.S Intelligence influenced my father's marital affair. This is not research
U.S FBI hacker referred to me as a N-word that's not investigation
Now under hidden surveillance the fbi cia monitors and disguises themselves as being supported or an opportunity for those with original intention to influence a murder by enabling behavior and reprimanding behavior to cover their criminal intentions to murder individuals without being criminal implicated . The covert agency all of them know but still participate to support a psychological operation to see the effectiveness of murder without physical confrontation.
The CIA has committed multiple violations and civil and liberty to conduct abusive psychological approaches to mentally trigger and cause shock by monitoring logic and mirroring or providing suggestive references to the unspoken intentions or actions through their form of Intelligence surveillance that is used for continue to shock and inflict paranoia from U.S Intelligence who attempted to murder a 6 year old child and an agency who did plan and arrange the marital affair for a filipino navy recruiter who had a child with a black woman.
Today that agency continues to mentally evaluate behavior and logic " that is Enabler & Reprimander"
UNDE SURVEILLANCE HOW WOULD YOU REACT TO YOUR DETAILS OF YOUR BEHAVIOR ACTIONS IN DISSEMINATED THROUGH VARIOUS FORMS OF MEDIA .........FAMOUS FALSE SENSE OF SPECIAL WHILE THE AGENCY MONITOR AND STEER AND INCITE A HOMICIDE.
*** THIS AGENCY WILL BOTH HACK MONITOR AND COVERT COMMUNICATE THROUGH VARIOUS OUTLETS A EQUIPMENT IN A FORM OF CHARADES. THE AGENCY MENTALLY EMOTIONALLY PROVOKES AND NEVER CONFIRMS OR DENIES BUT ONLY COORDINATES SUGGESTIVE REFERENCES AND HINTS THAT THE VICTIM WILL RECOGNIZE AND QUESTION, WONDER AND ASSUME ......
** THIS IS EXACTLY HOW U.S INTELLIGENCE MURDERS AND INFLICT HARM WITHOUT PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION. THIS AGENCY WATCHES LOW INCOME HUD FAMILY THAT THE AGENCY HAS INTRUDED SINCE 1980.
*** San Antonio TEXAS HOSTS AN EXTREME FORM A CHARADES ON THOSE THE AGENCY ATTEMPTED TO HOMICIDE OVERSEAS AND NOW USES THE LOW INCOME HOUSING COMPLEX AS THE SITE TO INFLICT PARANOIA MENTAL TRIGGERS SHOCK FEAR AND WAYS TO CONTROL AND MANIPULATE BEHAVIOR *****
THIS IS AGENCY LEARNS THE BEHAVIOR PREDICTS BEHAVIOR MENTALLY TRIGGER MIRROR BEHAVIOR AS FORM OF MANIPULATIONS AND CONTROL AND THE RESPONSE CONVEYED FROM U.S INTELLIGENCE IS THE FOLLOWING:
" Prove it N***ger" CIA United States Surveillance
the virginia sniper in the 90s was 100% miss identified. wrong car wrong age wrong race. it was a kid who was being manipulated by a guy who made a dig out from the back of his car that was a normal small toyota car. NOT a white van
