Yes, a 9mm bullet could penetrate his vest, and yes, U.S. MP guards would have MP5's and not M16's. Especially in what looks to be the eighties. I have a feeling this movie is about people disguised as U.S. soldiers and shit, and the people who attacked might be actual U.S. Seals or SAS. Unless I'm missing something, because this doesn't feel right at all
