EPIC!! What legends! Thanks for sharing the experience. THIS is the power of the interweb….and some clever writing.
ОтветитьEvery video is better than the previous. Dude, I’m so jealous of this ride. Incredible. I still owe you how to change a tire without a lever!!!! I am watching this one over and over again! Your wife must have hit you like ten times as she watched what you put yourself through. Haha.
ОтветитьHi Charlie! Great to meet you today! Kudos on the amazing ride!
ОтветитьLooks incredible. I would want to slerp and ride down the next day. Carefully! 😊
ОтветитьGreat! Loved it all
ОтветитьCool video... will you do a feature on Isla del Sol?... I'd love to see more footage on that... I've ridden there from La Paz, and rode around the island on an MTB, including to the top of its highest hill, among other very steep bits of trail to be found there...
ОтветитьVettel's been doing well since retirement
ОтветитьMe too
ОтветитьI am 71 and only 1/2 a heart x sales man on the Alaska highway, for underground mines
ОтветитьHave a 750 Yukon fat tire electric bike lol, but i still bike ride
ОтветитьHey man, if you need to talk let me know. I’ve been a full firefighter/ paramedic for the past 10 years and I’ve seen my fair share of bad calls. I’ve had my own battles and my goal is to help others
ОтветитьLife can be cheap there and death is for sure.
ОтветитьAmazing. Thank you.
ОтветитьInspiring content.
Thx 👍💪
SEE MY COMMENT ON YOUR VIDEO ON STEEPEST HILL CLIMBING ABOUT DEEP, HARD BREATHING, FOR SUPER ENDURANCE AND STAMINA. IT REALLY WORKS!😮🤪👍 Thank you for your great videos !
ОтветитьAlso since when was ketchup good for cramps haha! Nigel needs some electrolytes not condiments
ОтветитьKudos to you, Mitch, both for the ride and the engaging video. i can empathize with the altitude "sickness" effects. I remember riding Haleakala and getting a headache and those fluorescent sparkles in my vision above 3000m.
ОтветитьBrilliant video. Climbing the Alps at 4000m at top of Barre des Ecrins was my limit physically and mentally very overwhelming. My very fit friend suffered at 3200m getting delirious and needing help. Altitude is tough and very unpredictable. Well done!
Ответитьhey next time if you have such ideas, could you invite your followers along? would love to join!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing ,incredible adventure 🚴🏽♂️💨💨
ОтветитьLove your channel! Just found it. Have you done the road up to Haleakala and back down? It’s crazy!
ОтветитьWell done!
ОтветитьNow... this riding up 15,000 feet is an adventure. I would like to joun them but I have to walk the dog.
Love this channel.
There's tons of crazy death roads in California. We were amazed at the amount of steep, windy, cliffy roads in your state. What a road bike destination, as good or better than the south of france
ОтветитьEveryone should ride high altitude at least once to understand that friend who has anemia and stop thinking they're bad :D
ОтветитьSuper nice trip ! What's your bike's bag btw? Looks small
Ответитьawesome view 👌🙂
ОтветитьMitch, what could one expect to spend on such an awesome trip?
ОтветитьI love this. thanks for sharing
ОтветитьWhat a moving video, the climb, people...
Thanks for sharing the complete experience, including the sobering aspects.
Have cycled at that sort of altitude in the Tibetan/Nepalese Himalaya, but interested in this ride too.
Respect. I came across your San Fran video on my news feed this morning. I didn't ride today, but I've been to NZ, AUS, and Pittsburgh in just one day. These vids are really good!
ОтветитьA hardcore ride by some hardcore blokes. Respect!
ОтветитьWell done! Crazy!
Ответитьcool video man! whats ur opinion on Chocmans ! hahahaha im from chile, its my favorite candy !
Ответить"I was suffering from hypoxia, so ..."
ОтветитьGreat ride, thanks for sharing the journey
ОтветитьI wish i could ride like you
Ответитьthis is some rich guy shit
Ответить7 hours to do 12k feet? That doesnt seem right.
ОтветитьAmazing!
ОтветитьThe part where you deliberately ride along the edge got me a little nervous. I don't even have a fear of heights.
ОтветитьIf the truck driver was wearing the seatbelt, probably nothing would have happened to him.
Don't feel bad about that, you were just a person sharing the same road.
What you can do is to remind people how important it is to always wear the seatbelt, maybe you'll save a life one day.
I keep coming back to this moment with the truck driver, and I’m just amazed by you, Mitch. You were present of mind enough to try and help. You were aware enough to be present for the moment, and you were aware enough to know how it affected you immediately after. I’m coming back to this video for a third time, and I think the weight is finally setting in. I hope you are good now
ОтветитьHi there! Wow. Ruta de la muerte sounds engaging hehe like a film or documentary. Staggeringly beautiful views really. Your gravel bike was made to climb I must say! Great machine indeed. Muchas felicidades. Keep riding mate! LIKE
ОтветитьI race dirtbikes, I have shots of salt n wash it down with water before riding and racing to stop myself from getting cramps
Ответитьis there a memorial for the prisoners that built the road as well?
ОтветитьGlad I found you on YT, your videos are very good. Ever thought of bike camping? You could make some cool stuff on the Ohio to Erie trail or many of the other long rail to trail conversions. GG
