I've been looking for a small stand that's strong enough to hold up my WA44 when recording guitar amps. The thing is a beast and all my stands start drooping after a while.
Ответитьtriad orbit are some of the best in the industry, BUT they're expensive af. I have an ipad/iphone clamp from them it was expensive, but super great quality. If i ever had a space i knew i wasn't leaving anytime soon i'd have it all rigged with their mounds and stands.
ОтветитьI love my triad orbit stands and clamps. Expensive but super versatile.
ОтветитьI'm sorry, it's 1000 bucks for a single overhead stand? are you insane?
ОтветитьTheir stuff looks/is great but unrealistic for most people doing music.
ОтветитьI love the tama made stands! They’re all metal and seem to be priced fair
ОтветитьDAMN the overhead tree and snare mount is AMAZING!!!
ОтветитьI’ve tried to figure out a quick way to mic drums in a live setting and I think this is a really good way to get kick, racks, and overheads all done in seconds instead of minutes. Sometimes 2 or three minutes can make a big difference when you’re producing multiple bands in a fast paced environment
ОтветитьI started out with cheap Amazon quick releases (and dropped a mic once), then tried somewhat more pricey Gator Frameworks (which wobbled) and in the end replaced everything with Triad Orbit too (they don't move, period). Same with ball heads where I went through a number of iterations and ended up with Triad Orbit. I can totally relate to this video 😅 Regarding stands: I do love my Latch Lake which will likely survive a zombie apocalypse. But this has been pretty expensive too.
ОтветитьI think i saw the CAD... lol.. Thinking about it! She eats up battery's.
ОтветитьYou say you change overheads a lot. The best Uber ever used were the extra cheap mall 990’s. lol. That was many years ago. I liked their overhead sound more than the superior stock captures. Whatever they used was very spiky. The mxls were just high pass , lightly compress and done with the overheads. I’m surprised many haven’t tried those cheap mics as overheads
ОтветитьYou just reminded me I had a 5 pack of quick-releases in the bottom of a drawer in here... Thanks!!
