Walt takes on the habits of those he kills. That is the theory. There is also a theory that Gus was gay. I wonder if Walt took on any of that habit. I guess we do not see him interested in women anymore and is more interested in revenge and further building his empire.

It always bothered me that the inscription on "Leaves of Grass" wasn't enough evidence to convict Walter. Between that and Jesse's testimony, there was plenty of evidence.

I've always believed that Walt never knew about Gale's note in that book. That would explain why he never threw it out or burned it after his W.W. conversation with Hank. Heck, I still remember 27 years ago when I had just bought a new N64 game, and someone wrote me a note in the game's manual, and I didn't know about it until almost a full year later, and it was only because my best friend found it. If not for my best friend, I probably still wouldn't know about it to this day. That being said, I also agree with Vince and Bryan's theory about Walt not being as cautious as he used to be.

It really is quite a moment. For a brief time, it looks like Walt will get away with ALL of it: the money, a comfortable jail-free retirement for the last months of his life, accounts settled with Jesse... even a reconciliation with his family (something I didn't see coming). And then, one book, one little slip-up (caused by hubris in my opinion), and suddenly he's right back in the chaos, and the show's final act and final rivalry are set in motion.
