Castlevania is my favorite video game series. One of the many reasons I love it so much is because of the music. Even though you're fighting for your life it gives the areas so much ambiance you just want to pull up a chair and sip some tea while taking in your surroundings.

all so... non irritating... unlike the complaints of the living dead...at least the music they dance to is good

Probably would have something like this playing on low volume just to keep the goth spot from getting to quiet.

I bet when presented the proper way, experiencing castlevania games was a fundamental magical experience for not just gamers but goths especially.

I personally need to play the few castlevania games that interest me. Always wanted to try symphony of the night, lords of shadow looks ok, and then theres that one i cant remember for ps2 that looked great but had way too limited combo systems. So far the best vampire game we have is ironically V RISING but they have to add the camera perspective mods that pc players added for free that heavily helped sell copies of the game. Other than that i think the best vampire game is probably elder scrolls.
