ОтветитьWas stationed at Naval Air Facility El Centro for almost two years 1979-80 but never heard of this place in Imperial valley…
ОтветитьOh no; not the Yuha Church!!!! 😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьBigfoot built it! 😂😂😂😂😂
Ответить✌️💀✨️..Awesome brother..as always.., ("..enjoy walking around thee area..Haa Haa..!!!")
ОтветитьIt's like the precursor to burning man! love it.
ОтветитьWocanda Forever!
ОтветитьI'm not convinced that was a swimming pool. One wall is shorter than the others. I've never seen a pool like that.
Ответить"Why would anyone do this, in the middle of nowhere, 20 miles from the nearest town". There's your answer, right there. Binge watching your videos, great stuff. Very jealous :-)
ОтветитьLove your travel vlogs and the nice quiet choice of music you play in the background is excellent
ОтветитьI randomly passed by this today. I wouldnt have know what it was unless I watched this video
ОтветитьGet some ground penetrating radar out there
ОтветитьI like your sense of adventure. In March my wife and I toured the total ii missile silo in Green Valley, Arizona after you were there.
ОтветитьSteve,
I was born in Yuma in 1953 and roamed all over hell between Desert Tower to the Phoenix Valley. Never once did I ever hear of the church of the sun. My bullshit detector is flashing red, at least for the building atop the mound. Just sayin...
p.s. Also have traveled from Glamis and the Salton Sea to North Mexico and the Baja.
ОтветитьBTW, Nice Padres cap. You must know that they used to Winter in Yuma.
Ответитьit looks like the Padres anyway...
ОтветитьInexplicit building and reservoir in middle of desert? No logical reason? USA federal government.
ОтветитьAwesome 👌
Ответитьthose badlands look like mordor
ОтветитьOh, had I known it's my family's property I would've given you a hook up to go on there.... (then i watched the video) man we could've camped and told scary stories!
ОтветитьPrivate Property 👍🏽
ОтветитьI'm not sure if you check this out yet or not, but it'd be cool to see something about the Mojave megaphone
ОтветитьLeast graffiti on structures i've seen on these posts!!
ОтветитьAfter the government blew up round rock outside Twentynine palms, the group moved there. You know, the George Adamski crowd…
ОтветитьI finally found Rte 98. This place is almost in Mexico.
ОтветитьI think somebody should get a drilling rig out there and fill those pools up. Screw the greenies . They've been wrong about everything.
Ответитьthank you man for your videos. i like that they are short and what you say is totally accurate
ОтветитьI like the camara you are using, love your videos thanks.🇲🇽
ОтветитьStrange things, or people, happen in the desert. I live in Fort Mohave, Arizona and I really think that some people see the desert as some kind of place where it is unrestricted freedom. But the reality is that they have no clue as to how hot it really gets out here. And personally, I think they get "sun happy". You can act like a freak and no body cares, but they start to believe their own delusion.
ОтветитьThe reason its fenced off, is because ASSHOLES were digging them up, breaking pieces off, etc. IWhen I was a kid , my dad loved to explore our valley, this one of the places we went. Mt. Signal to look for lost gold, west side of the Salton Sea in the hills looking for "black gold", etc.
ОтветитьA beautifully and intelligently presented program! A lot of thought and care goes into Sidetrack's adventures and the work is appreciated much by many! It seems like there were big plans for the church to have an associated recreational and inspirational infrastructure, including swimming and perhaps therapeutic bathing. Someone somewhere knows the complete background, but the truth better be uncovered soon or the secrets will disappear with the relentless desert wind, as so many others have over time.
ОтветитьI'm not clear on the landscaping, swimming pool, etc. Did Mr. Estrada build those?
ОтветитьIt looks like somebody was watering livestock here.
ОтветитьTemple must be of secret society that is used to sacrifice people
ОтветитьHi,Really like you're video. Thank you for your Insight to history.
Ответить"No one knows who they were or what they were doing."
ОтветитьAwesome! Another desert "mystery" to check out on the next road trip. Great job. Looking forward to your other videos.
ОтветитьChurch of the Sun, is a play on words often used in Christianity, meaning Church of the Son, of God, Jesus.
ОтветитьIt's the lost Spanish galleon ship that got covered by the great flood of 1905. Do your research
ОтветитьI ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR SHOW…..
…,
I learn so much!!!
I wonder how you find these places!!!!
I live Fresno/Bakersfield and just am in AWAHHHHH😅😅😅😅
Have you done NEW IDIRA ??
It’s
Dilapidated, but there is as that’s just water. Still coming from the mine. It’s orange it I’m sad.
Thanks!
Ответитьabout 15 years ago, someone/group re-planted all of the trees that made up the highway 98 side of the property. The trees were staked down, small square planter/tree holders were put in (about 8 feet high) for each tree. They were even watered for a while (as were the palm trees on the actual property/ Never saw anyone actually ON the property, other than the border patrol sitting int he dirt lot to the south-east
ОтветитьFascinating again! In 1993 I toured a maquiladora in Mexicali and drove right past this place without knowing it.
ОтветитьToday's trash is tomorrow's archeology.
Ответитьcool
ОтветитьI grew up in the deserts of Arizona and I must say, that area of the Yuha desert looks absolutely desolate and very, very unforgiving. I'm accustom to more plant life, even if it is cacti.
ОтветитьI thought you were narrating in post for the longest time and I will never know how you do it while walking about
ОтветитьPeople live through their imagination.
ОтветитьHow would I go about purchasing this piece of property?
Ответить
