Also you play harmonica awesome omg de dedididdle. Omg it is a must in survival. Even just beating a few it’s of wood together and chanting a sound. It will keep you going even if wind is blowing. And you can’t think cause you can’t hear.

I think people would have been walking horses through all the bad lands. It shows them it’s kind of ok even know they know the weight is more than yours. There is a real connection between horses and men. I’ve been trying to work it out for years now. Why the f
Do they help us we aren’t any smarter than them. They help cause they want to be with us I recon we do things different. Cats dogs are both the same I think.

That beach in the beginning with the shipwreck is one of the most savage and hauntingly beautiful places I've ever seen in my life.

Ive been homless since april and ive never been comfortable in the city. So ive been living in the woods im a tent. Ive always had alot of respect for Les but the loneliness of living in the woods on your own had given me an even deeper respect for the man.

Not knocking but Drake did dudes from Canada a favor in cool pts cat. this dude is the biggest cornball EVER.

who wakes up IN A SURVIVAL SITUATION AND REPORTS ON THE WIND.?. tie horses tighter hunker down and go to sleep. He's irritating because he talks to you like ur 10 y/o like rather or not you survive depends on the things you do..." NNNOOOOOOOOOO TWIX BOY WONDER! I WONDER WHY NO ONE'S RECOMMENDED A QUIK NAP BEFORE DARK AND THEN GO HUNTING.

As a man - I'd feel sorry for any woman tht gotta have the guy as a man OMG. nice places to hear about but to listen to his commentary - dreadful

I hope Les gets to read this. I never been in a survival situation. But when I was in college. I was poor, alone, and very depressed. I used to study for many many hours. I truly hit bottom low. But I used to look forward to watch Survivorman and eat my Ramen noodles. Today I consider myself successful, I am blessed with a beautiful family. I am in shape and I am happy. But every now and then I would eat my ramen noodles and watch Survivorman. It puts a smile on my face. I feel like I owe you one. Thank you sir. I appreciate you

I'm gonna survive in the Tropical Forest, one of the hardest places on earth. I have taken 2 bags full of survival gear with me making it harder with all the weight. Dangerous creatures exists like the lama that can be very dangerous with their sharp claws. The easy to access rain from the heavens is very dangerous with walking in the muddy terrain. Living in the outdoors for a few days is tough, especially with a 24/7 backup if I need it. I only taken a basic essentials with me like a torch, hacksaw, cooker, sleeping bag and food enough for the 7 days and other stuff I wont mention....real life survival is no easy feat.......(sarcasm).

Traveling by horse is a great mode of transportation. Worse case scenario, you have hundreds of pounds of meat if you absolutely have no choice.

Les, Very insightful. Yep, you are just like everyone - having ups and downs. I honor you for being genuine, and keeping it real. It was a hard episode to watch. Thought you would have a go at the maggots, just wash, boil and chew. Congratulations for getting through this with your dignity. Impressive.

Les did his best with the horses. Wish someone would've trained him better on the packs or found a better source for them, the packs were too far back before the first incident. The bit shown was a quite harsh leverage one that likely is why it was giving him issues getting the bridle on one day too. I'd love to see more horses worked into these adventures though, I've been around horses all my life and had always wanted to camp with my mare
