This is the best track from the UK ive heard for years. Reminds of the DnB, 2-Step, Garage stuff ive heard in the Late 90's. I will check now Burials Wohle back catalogue. To bad ive heard this great track so late.

ОтветитьThis is the best shit I've discovered in a good while. I was getting a lot into trip hop and somehow found this thing. I couldn't even telly you what genre I think it is, but I don't really care. It's just good.
The violin/string sound really fucking makes it.
The fact that he sampled this from mgs2 furthers my love for Burial

ОтветитьLoneliness, Night, Desires, Ghosts and Darkness.
Burial can do exactly what Jazz, Grunge, DSBM and Death Metal can do in terms of "obscure soul music" or "necromancer music."
I met the band when I was still a kid and even through this video here.
Only the gods of death know how important it is that sound was for that time.
Praise & Hail!
Waterloo Road anyone?
ОтветитьWHERe is the trust me ill trust you if i had one wish ray j remix song!!!
ОтветитьWhos here from Waterloo road
ОтветитьWilliam Bevan's dog surely was a very good boy, rest in peace
Ответитьabsolute masterpiece. perfection.
Ответитьbrings me back to my lonely 2 am winter wanderings around 2008... bleak and beautiful
ОтветитьHits the same on a night train across Italy
As it does alone in your bedroom at night
As it does at your friend's funeral in a cavernous church
As it does driving down the interstate loud and alone
This song becomes instantly more soul crushing when you realize that the lyrics and title are about his dog. Burial made this song after falling into a deep depression because his dog died. His mom told him to make a song to deal with the pain and he made this, one of the reason it feels so insanely personal, you can really feel how he felt.
ОтветитьRecently started binge watching Waterloo Road over lockdown & this song came on in one of the episode & I thought it had a good beat & it made me want to search it up
ОтветитьIdk listening to this song makes me feel so lonely and just so abandoned you know but out of all I love the song
ОтветитьI don't understand what this is but it's such a depraved, hopeless, emotional, euphoric piece of art. Reminds me of early The Weeknd but with an electric style.
ОтветитьRosalia's Candy inspiration?
