At this point, with the amount of time and money spent on this. Just hire a trusted landscaper and relay the whole lawn with good quality grass. Bonus of doing that means you can level it before putting the grass down and can make sure it's level whilst laying...

My yard is white clover. Softer than grass, bees love it, looks just as nice when mowed.

If you’re passionate about caring for your lawn, passionate about caring for your garden, or passionate about maintaining native plants in your yard for pollinators, more power to ya!
