Why Were These Books Banned From The Bible?

Some texts were too mystical. Others too politically dangerous. And some simply gave voice to people the Church would rather have silenced. These are the books that didn’t make it into the Bible. Gospels, visions, and writings that were read, debated, and ultimately cast aside.
