This news anchor is the best example for the clichee of men not listening when women talk: she did NOT say she is in the early stages of cancer but in the early stages of "that treatment", meaning her chemotherapy! She probably would not want to stage her cancer or proclaim her prognosis out to the world.

Nobody has preventative chemotherapy...either you have cancer cells that need killing or you don't, so either you have chemotherapy or you don't. I'd bet money it's in her pancreas...and that's why they're being so aggressive. I'm glad she did tell us, we can send up prayers for healing.

Kate obviously has cancer. People do not go around getting preventative chemotherapy. There is no such thing. The only reason people get chemotherapy is for their cancer…. If you don’t think so, go to your family doctor and tell him you’d like to start preventative chemo just in case someone down the line you get cancer… My God people are stupid! Just an observation

She probably had an exploratory abdominal surgery, to look for whatever they , the doctors, needed to look for. The routine pathological study of excised tissue samples, or organs,
indicated the presence of suspicious or confirmed cancerous cells that had not spread, most likely. Preventive treatment, or "adjunctive treatment" as we call it in the USA, is preventive, in case any of those cells somehow exited beyond the scope of the tissue examined, to be "preventive". It's like cleaning something really well and then polishing it for better results.

It took me a minimum of two weeks to recover from having my stomach operated on. They found cancer in my appendix and opened me up and took 31 biopsies. The recovery time was 6 weeks. I’m assuming Catherine stayed in the hospital to recover and be taken care of properly. She knew there would be no lifting at all and with children at home she stayed in the hospital longer. She’s the Princess of Wales and she can stay as long as she wants. It’s very painful around the girth of the body with all the muscles and organs being sniped and moved around. Plus they had to discuss a plan and how to get her started on chemo. Her defensive attack on her cancer will also wear her out. The physical and emotional strain she’s undertaking will be horrific. God give her strength and courage to fight this battle. 🙏🙏❤️❤️

I’m in stage 4 epithelial ovarian cancer. My abdomen was swollen and I was seen in the ER, they ordered a CT scan. I was immediately scheduled for a complete hysterectomy. They through the CT screen because they saw a mass on my pelvis. Doctors could not confirm anything until they were able to go in and examine exactly what happened. I was diagnosed with stage 2b. I was immediately scheduled for chemo. I was in the hospital for almost a week. That was back in 2017 on 911. Sadly, my Ovarian Cancer metastasized 4 years later. I have had three recurrences. I just finished up the third recurrence chemo treatment. I am on break until July 10 and then doctors will go from there. My many thoughts and prayers are with Kate. It very much sounds like she went through the same ordeal that I did.

Keep calm, and have faith Princess Catherine. With GOD, all things are possible.

With major abdominal surgery, there may have been some sort of mass present. Which by her looking well and having not lost her hair they may have removed all the cancer. We’ll probably never know

Unless you have had an in-depth conversation with the medical team treating the Princess of Wales the rest is speculation. We don't know the kind of cancer she has or the stage the cancer is. Everything else is speculations.

Gosh my thoughts, and prayers are with all of us fighting this God awful disease! I have stage 4 ovarian cancer. It’s rough.. I’m currently in radiation treatment for my 3rd recurrence. I pray that Kate is not dealing with ovarian cancer! I was hospitalized for 1 week when I experienced my first diagnosis with OC. God help us! 🙏
