I just tried this with my first attempt at Lion's Mane cooking. slam dunk of flavor. This method is legit AF. I made a buttery demiglace with shallots, Worcestershire and a very small dash of wine while it was in the convection stage. Superb.
Ответитьgreat job, but why not just use olive oil instead of mixing with rapeseed oil which is known to be quite unhealthy?
ОтветитьYou probably don't get any of the benefits when you cook them in high temperature. Look it up.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI think I missed something.....why did you turn the oven on? The Lion's Mane Steak was all cooked on the stove. (soooo many comments I'm sure you must have answered already but didn't have the time to search all the past comments and responses)
ОтветитьJust drove out to Palm Springs to Cayon Creek Mushroom and bought my first lions mane. Making recipe tonight.
ОтветитьMuha mine grew 3times the size!
ОтветитьKindly mention side effects interactions etc...😊
ОтветитьThanks for offering non-spicy recipes. Sadly, I have some digestive issues that will not allow me to enjoy the heat.
ОтветитьI loooovvve spicy food. It’s one of the reasons I like your recipes - they’re always well-spiced (not just heat, but flavor).
ОтветитьMy wife was told by her DR hat she needs to go on a strick Vegan diet. At 84, no more meat, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs or fish (I don't understand the NO FISH part). Like you, I am a at home cooking chef. Now I need to find Vegan, not Vegetarian, meals. I must have watched 20 Lion's Mane recipes and this one was the best. Just made it tonight and it was EXCELLENT. Only one question - most BBQ Sauces have sugar in them, which she can't have. You didn't say it was Vegan BBQ Sauce. I used low sodium Soy Sauce instead. Still came out great. Thanks. I have subscribed to your site and look forward to more recipes. Jerry.
ОтветитьDo you ever do a burger with those “chops”?
ОтветитьI definitely love spicy foods from all over the world. I'm so looking forward to finding (and cooking) Lion's Mane mushrooms. Just watching these videos, and I'm relatively new to this channel, my mouth waters. I can't wait to try this recipe. Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьOur family can't handle any spicyness in our food. You can call us wimps, but we do get to taste our food and not just feel the hyper-irritation of our nerves. It's frustrating that restaurant cooks assume everyone wants spicy. You can always add hot pepper at service time, if you want it. But, you can't take it out.
ОтветитьI HAVE to have the spice. Life is not worth living without it 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьHey Derek I have an electric stove. I followed the instructions cooking on med low but my steak came out kinda squishy and flat and I as almost burning by the end. What temperature should I cook it over?
ОтветитьI like spicy food thanks for asking
ОтветитьI have tried cooking lions mane before and didn’t like it. So yesterday I decided after following your channel for a while to give another shot. Picked up some lions mane and tried this recipe. OMG. I haven’t had steak in over 25 years, and these steaks looked felt and tasted just like what I remembered. Absolutely delicious, and no one is harmed. I called that win-win. Thank you for all the amazing recipes and keep them coming.
ОтветитьLove spicy food
Ответитьlove sick foods especially Cayenne pepper which is good for circulation and other benefits 👍
ОтветитьI can't stand the heat of spicy food; sometimes mild spicy foods are too hot for me.
I like my food to have flavors but I just can't take the heat of spices so what does one do in that situation?
I’m curious - how do you keep your cooking towel nice and clean - thanks in advance chiming in from Australia 🇦🇺 🥳o
ОтветитьLove spicy food
ОтветитьI like spicy food! My tummy doesn't like spicy food. I'm ok if you cook and eat spicy food. I can adjust the heat in my kitchen. Because I'm an adult! 😂😂😂
ОтветитьLove spicy foods
ОтветитьThat's really cool...I will try this right now with the mushrooms I bought today.
ОтветитьI do love spicy foods!
ОтветитьI am so happy to hear you say about not cooking animals any more! So proud of you! God bless!
ОтветитьAre You still off the meat today?
ОтветитьThis is insane. First time making it. I am blown away. I didn't have all the spices but I improvised a bit. To all the people making it, make it cRRRIspy. I honestly didn't need the sauce.
Too bad it is hard to find lion's mane .
Spicy food is life
ОтветитьHow would you prep this to take to a bbq and grill to finish it off?
ОтветитьI tried this today after finally finding the Lion's Mane at Whole Foods. Wwwwoooowwww! It was fast and delicious...with a side of sauteed greens and sourdough toast
ОтветитьMade this tonight for the first time using Omaha Steak dry rub and it was delicious! Thanks, Derek!
ОтветитьWhere can I buy your spices online? Per your website went to Kroger but they didn't have them.
ОтветитьSo easy to make. Absolutely delicious. Addicted to your recipes. Where do I buy these spices? I couldn't see them on Amazon. PS: Spicy foods not for me, bad reaction.
ОтветитьOnly flip steaks once
ОтветитьI went vegetarian 30 years ago. I have no desire to experience the taste of meat. To each thier own
ОтветитьHow would you cook this on an electric range and without cast iron skillets?
ОтветитьI can relate in so many ways to this video. I am trying to replace meat with mushrooms strictly for the cognitive health. I am going to try to do this tonight thanks for the recipe!
ОтветитьGreat job 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🤙🏾
ОтветитьSpicy yes! 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️
ОтветитьWhy do we not need to eat animals anymore? We can’t enjoy all the earth has for us to enjoy?
ОтветитьSpice=flavour so I am 100% into spicy.
ОтветитьA Couple of people in the produce section of Whole Foods told me about lions mane mushroom today. I’m excited to try it.😊
Ответитьlove the video, i love learning new things especially when its food lol
ОтветитьAs a person who can't stand the consistency of mushrooms but wants to stop eating meat I have marvled and drooled at your videos. I tried thjs methkd today and it was an epic fail ... the appearance gave meat but the flavor was GOD awful maybe my expectations were high. None the less I appreciate your effort to help people eat healthier. I will try your marinade version with the ones I have left and not exspect it to taste like meat and maybe it will taste better that way. P.s. my mom a mushroom lovver loved it !
ОтветитьI didn't hear you mention the level of heat on the cast iron skillet.
ОтветитьDerek, I absolutely love spice. ❤️
ОтветитьI did these and everything tired out beautifully, except they have a bitter edge. I can only get them semi dehydrated in a bag, so may be they are old enough to become bitter? Any tips would be appreciated!
