When Temo had 1,000 food in Castle Age, maybe Light Cavalry switch may have been a good idea to counter monks because they can dart under castles quickly. Light Cavalry are a good idea I think rather than go along with this monk war, but if you want to play Monk wars, go ahead.

This was such a refreshing game to watch, really interesting techs getting researched, just like last game.

I love how their third most used units are the oponent's UU xD

Funniest part is that both of their 3rd most produced unit is the enemies unique unit

I don't get how morg lost. He could've switched to light cav. I guess he was just done with this game lol

Morg could improve how his games play out for him around the 30 minute mark by stone walling the edges, from the games you have shown his opponents sneak out villagers away from his pressure, and his strat and lower APM allows them to freely get away

One thing I don't get about Morg is why he doesn't switch to adding eco after he tried his usual tactic of going for the kill with dropping castles. Same as in the game in MBL, it's a powerful strat, but if you feel you can't push to go for the kill, you're probably better off adding eco and taking advantage of your lead that way.

The constant chanting noise alone would drive me crazy.

I said it before, but I have to repeat it: Bohemians is broken, Hussite Wagon is broken. Minimum range needs to be introdued and make it convertable without redemption. Some of the pro players can still win the game because they got a civ with redemption and Morg cannot macro.

here, as well as in the "comeback" game morg always was behind in vils and never saturated in production.

i don't think those are comebacks. i think the strategy is just a loosing strategy but it makes it annoying and tedious to fight against. in purely AI fights without stamina and emotions i guess morg would be a lot of elo lower because all the early wins are gone and if the game is played out, morg loses.

it's 4th wall strategy and it's pretty effective.

Well, I made it, and I now have a headache!

Morg's an ideal heel. You just love to hate them, they taunt, they are annoying in game selection, they do goddawful irritating strategies. You love to see him lose, and it's good to have someone who is kind of a 'villain' to go against, provides great drama.

That was amazing persistence from Temo! I cut believe he managed to duck that many castles and eek out production 😂.

I think that for Temo not researching "heresy" for a long time was a mistake, which led to him falling behind. His opponent, on the other hand, had it for a long time. Temo did research it later, though. Also seeing almost full monk tech tree was amazing!
