I remember playing the original GTA on PC many, moons ago. Amazing how far gaming has progressed. Really looking forward to this 🎉

It’s gonna be so freaking hard to play the game straight the first time… I feel like I’m gonna be so overwhelmed looking at every detail before I get to a mission 🤣🤣

Honestly this map seems really shiting gay and I don't want to be stuck with it for 13 years. This map would be a great addition to a real map like la or NYC

LOL its been a week and its already much different

Im struck by how much more realistic night shots look. Video games always have that unfortunate artificial quality to their night time lighting, where nothing really feels dark as it does in the real world. Those night time postcard shots or whatever you call them look like real life night.

Having grown up in Jacksonville and seeing the map include a similar shaped coast in the northeast, I’m hoping there’s some hometown locations referenced. At least the Mayport Naval base should be up there.

Thing I sorta dont like is that Florida is SO flat. This means that Vice City is likely always going to be in view. The feeling you get when far away from the main hub visually can make such a difference in the size of the world you're going to be exploring

After waiting 10+ years, I've determined that real life not only has a bigger map, but better graphics as well. And no damn loading screens, except at the dmv.

I'd forget about this game it's at least 18 months away! Jason Schreier confirmed another big delay is likely meaning at least 5 months plus

I believe there will be 1 delay to keep it released in holiday season of next year, I'm not sure they will want to release in spring right at the beginning of summer 😅

I just Hope there's another city northwest please, otherwise it's gonna be unbalanced like GTA5

The mapping doesn’t seem correct for Watson Bay to resemble Cedar Key because on that map Watson Bay is shown in the South West area which would be Pelican Bay area in South West Florida . Cedar Key is much much more north

Floridian here. They nailed Miami and The Keys. NOOOOOT happy that Orlando will not be in the game. But, I get it, Orlando is much bigger and the games not Orlando City, it’s Vice City. Fine…..

Might be a stupid question but, do we for sure know that the map will be an island? Is it possible that Rockstar has land that goes off of the map? Idk how they would incorporate a border but I'm sure they could think of something creative.
