I love the bowl method tried today and fabulous! It worked. Yet my top layer which is longer bangs and layered in back is not curling as well and is frizzy. Might just be my hair but any advice

I’ve been wondering since I’ve just recently figured out I have wavy hair and been styling it, and I’m still a kid and don’t want to be asking my parents for too many products if I could just use some home oils like a little amount of olive oil? Is olive oil okay for my hair and will it have a similar effect?
