Been a long time since I ate actual doner... makes my mouth water. Outside of turkey (and even a lot of tourism places inside) and maybe germany, the doner meat is processed to the point of basically being poor quality sausage meat.

germans say Döner is german food. Unbelievable ignorancy. Folks go to Turkey to taste Döner Kebab and all other Kebab dishes. And dont forget when you are in germany and eat a Döner you will see that the vendor is a Turk who brought this culture to germany. There zero about this dish which has a german impact.

I know this restaurant and the owners very well. I have eaten there many times and it is very delicious. Really very clean and kind-hearted people. If you go to Ankara, I would definitely recommend you to go.

I’ve been to Istanbul and Antalya before and I find the lamb meat in Türkiye to be very gamey and strange tasting. I don’t know why, many others don’t know what I’m talking about when I say this.

Most the doner around those places seemed to be made with lamb meat which has an unappealing smell to me in Türkiye for some reason. Doner in other places in Europe doesn’t smell like that.

This however, made from Veal meat from a young cow, looks absolutely phenomenal. I’ve not been to Ankara, but a question for the Turks, is there anywhere in Istanbul that has beef meat doner of this quality? Please tell me, I’m going again in September. I don’t want lamb doner

I have never had a Doner Kebab or any other fast food. I like to know what I am eating. I wouldn't want my food prepared by people who may not keep their selves clean. If it was free I still wouldn't have it.

Kebab is one of my favorite foods when I am living in Dublin, matching my asian sromach and tasted so good. Everytime I struggled what to have just grab a kebab though so crowded the restaurant is.

In Kazakhstan there are a lot of kebab restaurants and stands. It's crazy but I will never say no to a delicious doner.
