You have to put horseradish on your beef on weck. Buffalo also has its own Steak sandwich tradition, got to hit up the East Side for the best. Also, I know people have opinions, Imperial Pizza and Bar Bill are good but for my money the best is still La Nova's for both.

Oh and glad you got into the Elmwood Village because its a very nice area, but for sponge candy the best place to go is PARKSIDE CANDY, building is very old and looks the same as it did in the 1920s, such a beautiful establishment it was used in the film the Natural.

Great video and excellent selections in terms of the best examples of the best local foods in the area. The only consensus on what place has the best versions of each food, is that there is no consensus.

If you ever make your way back through Western New York or down the road to the finger lakes in the summer time, you may enjoy a few sites outside the city, like Griffis Sculpture Park about an hour south of the city. It was the first Sculpture Park in the US and is 425 acres of amazing sculptures from over 100 artists. The giant mosquito, giant snake, and Easter Island type head you can sit in are my personal favorites.

Letchworth State Park, also known as the Grand Canyon of the East, is another great local destination with amazing views and some great activities life white water rafting, hiking the 60+ miles of trails, hot air balloon rides, and camping.

As I watch this video, I do wish somebody’d told y’all of the kinds of amazing foodie experiences you’d find in Utica. If you go through Upstate NY again, do find out what’s cooking in that city. Binghamton too has some legendary food.

Beef on weck is supposed to come with horseradish

Horseradish is a MUST! It’s part of what makes the Buffalo beef on Weck so unique.😅 It’s an acquired taste, I think.
Also, Blue Cheese is what goes best with wings. The traditional is wings with blue cheese, celery and carrot sticks. Thanks for featuring my home place. WNY has the best variety of food in my opinion. Great video!!

I've been traveling to Buffalo for 20 years and it has some of the most delicious food places ever. One place you guy's should've went to is Texas Red Hots, best hot dogs ever.

I left Buffalo 35 yrs ago. Ii always told my wife of the foods I missed, you guys nailed it!

Did you have any loganberry while you were here? It's a very sweet, non-carbonated soft drink. If you're in the same room as it, you get diabetes.

Two extra things I like that I don't think are in here (I haven't finished watching yet this is based off timestamps also I'm not really too close to the city itself but around tbe area) are drinkwise Loganberry. It's really sweet but also good. And I really like Pizza Logs, which are like pizza toppings and stuff in an egg roll. They give a nice crunch

I live in Buffalo and the BBQ wings here are the best that I have ever had anywhere and I have lived in a few different states.

If you ever come back to Buffalo you gotta try this delicious cold drink called Loganberry juice! It is so delicious and there are two brands and thoughts on both of them. We share it from Crystal Beach in Canada where it was first invented but it is made right here in Buffalo. Also suckere which are fruit flavored popsicle candies and also suger waffles.

Hey guys, you did a top notch job on this vid. Wonderful personalities and great to see you did your research before your visit. Perfect variety of some of our offerings and happy to see it wasn't a vid on just one item. Surprisingly Top's markets also has an awesome peanut stick. No doubt Imperial Pizza has a pie that rocks and as you said, with 5-600 joints around we all our favorites. Not going to get into it but the Anchor Bar did not invent the wing. More research lol. Bar Bill, not much to say, they have nailed wings for years. And, last but not least, I had to laugh while watching and neither of you mentioned the horseradish while you were eating and then....... it was the first thing I saw in the comments. Horseradish is love it or hate it. Oh, remember to dip those wings in the fabulous BC ! Excellent job A+K.

I grew up in the Buffalo area, but had not heard of peanut sticks 😮😋 Buffalo style pizza rules, and the crust is especially good with blue cheese dressing typically used with wings 🤤 Excellent choice for the video to film downtown at Canalside and the Naval Park. Lastly, Go Bills!! 🦬 ❤️🤍💙
