Must-Try Pixel 8 Tips & Tricks!

When I click on Bluetooth on, a new screen appears and I have to click on the name of the headphones I use every day before my headphones connect to my phone. Is there a way to connect just by clicking on Bluetooth On in the drag down screen?

I just tried to set up the VPN. It is only free for 6 month trial and then you get charged a monthly fee. At least in Canada that is what my phone indicated.

Anyone else have people just hanging up on you immediately when using Screen Calling? Like the AI voice just makes them give up instantly...

I have a Garmin cycling computer that has a "crash detection" feature. No adjustments... just on or off, and it links via BT to your phone and calls emergency contacts when it detects a bike crash. Well, it didn't work out so well. I was riding on a bumpy gravel path and just the vibration from that set off the crash detection. There was no crash or fall at all. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the automated phone call quickly enough (phone was tucked away in a bag), and it called my emergency contacts, who freaked out.

So, will this phone's crash detection be triggered by vibrations? Is it even useful for cyclists?

I cannot understand why on pixel phone you can’t change the shape of the icon without using a third party app?

Not all features are available in all countries. For example, The call Screening/Screen calling and VPN feature is unavailable in INDIA, which I realized after purchasing the device. I feel duped 🥺

Nice video, saved time finding out things on my own. The AI subtitles are not in Dutch unfortunately. And a VPN for safety, in the process route EVERYTHING through Google...? Well, if I was concerned about that, I would not have bought a Pixel I guess... ;-)
