I'm honestly glad Negan wasnt killed from this. It was a cheap trick which didnt feel earned nor satisfying at least to me. I also liked Negan's future development in the later seasons.

My god, it's so perfect.

The true ending to The Walking Dead. I tell anyone that wants to watch it for the first time to stop after this episode. They should have finished it on this spectacular high note.

I stopped watching this show shortly after the episode. For some reason after all these years this scene and moment sticks out to me. Perfect acting and the music truly hits

Carls death shouldn’t have happened but the writers clutched up instantly afterwards making this the best season

Rick should have died and Carl gradually becomes the leader by the end of the series. Why go by the books on so many other things but then kill Carl and leave a massive void in his place?

I still think Carl’s dead was a terrible decision, but I do think it made this scene more impactful than in the comics.

Far as I'm concerned, the series ended here. Seasons 9-11 were the first spin-offs.

Last time I listened to this was almost two years ago, when my fragile mental state basically made me break down crying and quit my job as a preschool teacher in one day. Kids in my class loved me and I loved them, but I couldn't take the lack of proper support and training anymore. Had been with them for nine months at that point.

I remember I came back to the school a few days after quitting to get a few thinga, and got to walk past the room at nap time. They were all asleep, except one little girl who only fell asleep when I patted her head. She looked so sad, but at that point, the damage had been done.

Almost two years later, I'm in a much better place mentally, and am back in teaching, and its going very well. I still think about those kids I let down sometimes though, so as to not let myself repeat the same mistakes with my current children. And this song reminds me of that.

I listen to this after I passed the boards. 20 years of education and experience to achieve my dreams at the cost of many sacrifices. There was no revels of victory, only tones of fulfillment and relief.

Although Season 9 is great, s10 had some cool moments, and season 11 was ok despite a pretty bad finale. This shouldve been the shows ending. Absolutely beautiful and utterly underrated.

This scene Rick got what he wanted but lost the things that was needed which was Carl’s dream. Rick did good on the promise and began returns that by taking out alpha for the Alexandria.
Cus negan also knew that how important of a kid Carl was especially to Rick after seeing first hand what they were like. carls promise was the thing that saved Negan life from rick who lost the thing he swore to protect in the beginning at the least he can honor his sons last words by fullfilling it or at least trying to

I feel like they should've ended it here, then make an extra scene looking into what they do after Rick cuts Negan's throat, Like show Rick and all the group in Alexandra living there lives

I still to this day have no idea why they killed Carl off. It was their worst decision by far. This scene with him walking down the gravel road is tough to watch. They need to make an alternate walking dead series where no one dies and it’s all roses and sunshine etc…
