Great review, thanks Luis! I'd never heard of this game before, but the thumbnail drew me in. I'll check this out on Switch. The art looks beautiful and it's definitely good to know it doesn't have any of the typically obscure adventure game puzzles because they really aren't my thing.

i just finished it, as nice as it is, it is an utter disappointment compared to what was shown on the old trailer.

IT'S NOT ON SWITCH YET THO

Did you even play to the end? The review only talks about how this is a noir detective game with a great art style. It does nothing to point out how the plot falls apart in the later game. This game starts off strong but anybody who finishes it will be disappointed. 9/10 is a crazy score to give a game that leaves such a sour taste in your mouth.

the ending was just so much wasted potential

I also praised how the game was visually presented and I couldint get enough of it....but you know what completely ruined it? The Story. It had something great going on and if it only stayed focused and stayed on track, It could've been one of the best games ever... But nope. It had to trip, face plant hard and slide all the way into the nearest dumpster fire.
Once seeing that ending and finding out that there's nothing you can do to change the outcome... Not even praising the art style and the music can save this game anymore. The Story and ending completely ruin this game.

Funny that you state it felt like Los Angeles, because as a Vancouverite, it absolutely nails Vancouver.
