ОтветитьEven ppl who are thin have Type2 diabetes..Can you please talk about ppl who got diabetes due to stress. I got it bcoz of chronic stress. Can you please make a video on this ??
ОтветитьThe blurb for this video states that although there is no cure for T2DM that some people can reverse T2DM... so the question is... What is the difference between curing T2DM and "reversing" it? Answer... there is no difference, except for the fact that some people find it very difficult to admit that when they were saying for 30 years that there is no cure, that they were wrong in that statement.
Why not just be honest and say that we got it wrong, and now we know better than we did before... that is how science works, so do not be embarrassed about being wrong.

ОтветитьAssociations of fats and carbohydrate intake with cardiovascular disease and mortality in 18 countries from five continents (PURE): a prospective cohort study
Dr Mahshid Dehghan, PhD
Andrew Mente, PhD
Xiaohe Zhang, MSc
Sumathi Swaminathan, PhD
Prof Wei Li, PhD
Prof Viswanathan Mohan, MD
Interpretation
High carbohydrate intake was associated with higher risk of total mortality, whereas total fat and individual types of fat were related to lower total mortality. Total fat and types of fat were not associated with cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction, or cardiovascular disease mortality, whereas saturated fat had an inverse association with stroke. Global dietary guidelines should be reconsidered in light of these findings.
It seems Dr Mohan was one of the author in this paper which says fat has inverse association with stroke and here he says fats should be low in diet. sounds contrary
Please, more videos we love your advice😊
ОтветитьExcellent medical advice
ОтветитьI am informed that according to WHO, the sugar readings are 150 for fasting and 250 for ppbs. It's not adopted in Bharat because Doctors may loose patients. Since you are not for money but interested in the humanity, kindly make a video on this issue. Hari Om.
ОтветитьThank Dr Mohan .very good information for us
ОтветитьExcellent information
ОтветитьI realised that health care is a lifelong project. Especially when you get better and remission has happened. I too was a classic case of relaxing once glucose levels came to normal and indulged in the occasional sweets initially to full blown garbage and binge eating. I am back now on a strict diet and exercise routine to get my T2 into remission again. And this time I plan to stick to it 🙂 This video is informative. Thank you for sharing 🙂

ОтветитьThanks Doc Mohan, very useful...
ОтветитьMost reasonable person in this topic. Most of the yotubers are extremists. People like Dr. Berg prescribes IF as one stop solution for all the problems. And there is another set who says it wouldnt work and diabetes is terminal. Great to see someone understanding both side of the arguments.
Ответить3 years back when I checked my HBA1C , I was shocked. It was 12.4. Doctor put me on metformin immediately. After a few weeks blood sugar was in control and I stopped medication and started intermittent fasting(I was never a breakfast guy , so it was easy for me) . The weight reduced from 84 kg to 75-76 kg and blood sugar came down to normal (hba1c <6). Then again I went back to my normal life and put those weights back. Now again hba1c is 8. So you can reduce blood glucose but need life long commitment.
ОтветитьFirst time i listen about diabetes due to stress, which from i am suffering, can i treated
ОтветитьDr. Thank you so much for the great information you share with us. Im 53 years old and v recently diagnosed with HBA1C 7.5. I am going to give it my best shot and try to get to the remission stage . Grateful for your Videos.

ОтветитьSir I want to pay a visit to your clinic for treatment

Thnku sir🙏
ОтветитьDr. Mohan, I fully agree with your term re-reversal of Diabetes. I am 62 years of age and had T2 for the last 12 years going without a single medication which led to a reckless attitude towards diat and ignoring to check my HBA1C in the last year or two. Unfortunately, complication of excess carbs and high sugar started to show up in the form of Proxima Neuropathy which struck all of a sudden without ANY SYMPTOMS OR WARNINGS. I had to go and do all the necessary checkups and my Doctor discovers my high Hba1c of 14!
I was obliged to take medication (Janumet + Insulin) which I followed and managed to get my Hba1c down to 6.8 within 3 months. The lesson I learned was never to ignore taking the glucose measurements and of course do the Hba1c test regularly. Thanks again Dr for your kind contribution and highlighting the re-reversal of Diabetes. 🙏🙏🙏
I have never seen anyone explaining every bit of diabetes in such a way!!!
Kudos
I'll not try for reversel, I'll follow your suggestions🎉, thank you doctor❤
