TOP 5: Best Cheap Projector 2021

for the algorithm

I am looking for a cheap (sub £100) portable projector with USB, HDMI in and headphone jack to use inside my camper van; so short distance < 2m. Do you have any recommendations? Sound and picture quality is not important as I will be using headphones and it is a small display area so picture quality will not be too obvious. Thanks.

Here's the problem: without actually trying these projectors or digging into the (frankly hilarious) specs, you won't realize that the light output claims from the cheap plastic projectors...are completely false and misleading. Their claims are thousands of lumens, but they are actually LUX, not lumens. Try one out, and you'll see that 9000 LUX is roughly equivalent to 250 LUMENS. Yes, two hundred fifty lumens. Think about it before reading the script. That would make these the brightest LED illuminated projectors in history. MANY times over. For a couple hundred bucks? And that's not even mentioning plastic lenses, plastic everything, and the image being produced by shining an LED through what can only be described as a disembodied cell phone screen.

Please don't make videos about stuff you know nothing about. Try things out first, then see if you can read out these laughable lies in the spec sheets, trying to pass them off as accurate.

I feel this is a waste of time to watch it, no real test on a real screen side by side?!!! all the paper specs, which can be easily manipulated. Wake up, dude.

I have tried a lot of budget projectors including the vivibeam and more and while they do produce a good experience for viewing movies and streaming content even the best of them cost around £300. can't compare to the likes of OPTOMA,BEN Q, Epson, and Viewsonic.
as the tek is way better as its ether DLP or 3LCD instead of just one cheap LCD chip with mirrors that all of the budget projectors have.
they cost around £500. but if you want a projector that is easy to set up has more flexibility and a much much better sharper picture that handles fast movement well it's the way to go, but if all you want it for is for the occasional move it's fine but if you are going to use one on a regular basis I would recommend going for the extra couple of hundred to get a good one.
they have a much lower fan noise a higher contrast ratio, faster response time and are a lot more friendly on the eyes.
the Optoma HD145X is one of the best and it's what I am going to upgrade to.
