I skipped school for this match.. i was lied to my teacher and told her i had stomach issues. When i get home my STOOOOMACH really hurts, hold my pee for 3 hours, sweating alot, heavy breath and i cant eat anything because this match y'aaaaaallll this match has EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE.

The drama, the rollercoster, ups and downs, the noise, the angre, the joy, the fighting spirit.. after 2 losses in 2004 Serena swore to herself.. I NEVER LOSE AGAIN TO HER. Right, 12 years of slave has began........

I remember this match, Serena was at the brink of defeat and found a way to win it. One of her classic comebacks

there will always be a cloud over Serena's tennis career once it was discovered she was given "medical" exemptions to use steroids and oxycodone, no other player got those "medical" exemptions....the main stream media never talks about it, oh and don't forget Serena refused to take her required doping tests later in her career, siting "discrimination"

I'd be curious to know the difference in breathing techniques involved. Sharapova yells right from the start of the match as she strikes the ball but Serena only does it late in tnto the match as she's getting fatigued.

And that's what used to be the excellence of women's tennis. Today's WTA could never.
