The 5 Pillars of Islam: Zakat (Obligatory Charity) - Abu Hafsah

I mean no disrespect when I ask this, but maybe a Muslim can clarify something for me. In an interview, a Muslim said that he believes that the prophet Mohammed (hope that's the correct spelling) literally flew to heaven on a winged horse. Is this something that actually occurs in the Qu'ran?

Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al- Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
