For certain small families, van life sounds great. If both the parents are teachers (for good quality homeschool) and there are at least 2 kids. Plus a van that is the size of a small apartment. Plus some way of getting a LOT of social activity.
ОтветитьWe have a friend who, whether by choice or necessity, would sleep on the floor behind the couch. When he came to visit us he chose to sleep the closet on the floor instead of the guest beds. Kids sleeping in random places made me think of this.
ОтветитьI hate when the kids don't have a say in there dramatic change in life and it even makes me more angry when the parents are willing to throw away there education and there social circle and family.
Ответить* "well if i don't pay the bill they turn off the power!" am i crazy or is the natural consequence of not doing the dishes,,, not,,, having no clean dishes to use?? i feel like the sensible thing to do here is not to take the kid's phone away but instead just,,, not wash the dishes, leave them there until she does it
Ответитьthe thing that gets me is the "monotony of daily life" ISN'T monotonous for a kid. Everything is already new, exciting, and scary for them. It's why kids need stability at home, need a safe place that's just theirs to process the new (to them) realities of the outside world. These kids aren't getting that foundation of security and understanding of the world to frame their experiences.
ОтветитьAs someone that had to live in a trailer for a year with 3 adults two dogs and 1 kid, I agree this is not the life for kid's
ОтветитьI coudnt imagine growing up like this .
ОтветитьNaw, these van family life videos should be considered a violation of children's rights imo
ОтветитьI lived in a trailer with low ceilings and a loft bed for space, and I often would wake from nightmares and slam my head on the ceiling. I can imagine how hard the impact would be in a bunk that narrow. but i couldn’t imagine growing up without that much privacy, yikes
ОтветитьGiant family with all Biblical names is such a red flag to me, lol.
Ответитьbro for sure those kids are going to run away one day
Ответить…is it bad that I live in Iowa😀😄😀
ОтветитьThere should be a country-wide law that dictates how much private space a child should get, and it should be a decent amount, remember, the recommended minimum space for segregated PRISONERS, in prison, is 70 square feet. I doubt the children in these videos have near that amount of space.
ОтветитьI agree with you on the public shaming. I could not imagine doing that to my children. Yes there should be consequences, but keep that between the involved parties.
The sleeping arrangements seem fine to me. I have children. They have their own rooms. We have a 5 bedroom house. They ALL want to sleep on our big pull out couch every night. They would live in our livingroom if I didn't force them to go to bed. So what to do? We have livingroom sleepovers on the weekends they have been good at school all week. They work hard for that reward. It is so weird. But free, so who am I to argue? Kids love the simple joys of life. ❤
Spent 2 weeks in a 30 ft trailer with 5 other people (one of which was pregnant at the time), 1 dog, 3 cats, a turtle, and a bearded dragon for a move. I love them all dearly but wouldnt want to love that way 24/7 thats for sure.
ОтветитьSo the “coffin” beds look awesome to me… I have Autism so the closed off areas look like a dream to me so I won’t be that mad about it to them
Ответитьif you want to travel like this and have kids, don't. wait until they are out of the house to do something like this. please put children first.
ОтветитьIf your living on the road with 12 kids the least you can do is make sure they have there own beds I hate small spaces and if I had to share a bed with someone else I wouldn't be comfortable I would be anxious and I'd feel uncomfortable and some kids keep there fears to themselves like I do you should make kids share beds you don't know if they feel comfortable or not so like people should give kids there own beds even if it's in a RV kids need space there own space even if it's just there bed as there own space a bed to themselves could be all the space they need to be comfortable
ОтветитьReminds me of the bunkbeds in hostels and capsule hotels.
ОтветитьThey could of at least done online school like honestly they clearly don't have the time to school that many kids while doing all that crap.
ОтветитьI've watched this like 5-6 times 😂
ОтветитьPutting your kids through something like this just to fulfill your desires is selfish af and abusive. A normal person knows kids need their own space and put them first, openly showing here you sleep while also showing the crappy corner your kid sleeps is really disturbing. And some of these beds are bigger than those at homes💀
ОтветитьThis is my first video of yours, and damn you’re hilarious!! I mean I was busting out laughing within the first 20 seconds! Also, very informative too! You’ve got a fan & sub here!!
ОтветитьAll these would be okay for a vacation but to think you can have kids and choose that is ridiculous.
People need to stop pushing their weird lifestyles onto their kids. It's like the kids are just another accessory in their glam.
VR is the only entertainment that is really good at self regulating time. At like 1-2 hours you need a break from it. 10 minutes a day is nothing.
ОтветитьMy introvert self could not survive living in a camper with someone. I don’t even know if I could manage living with a girlfriend in a van together. I need my private space to decompress at the end of the day.
ОтветитьThose kids will all fucking be happy as hell when they leave this trashy lifestyle....
Wonder if they'll be able to sue those rich ass pricks for all their money for no providing a proper environment for growtg...
Back in the days of the great depression 8 kids would sleep In the same bed ... ur sick.. making things dirty that aren't... and further more there's a lot of pl can't afford the luxury of separate rooms.. at least these children have food and education
ОтветитьAs someone who climbs thier bed everynight, its definitely not for kids
ОтветитьOk I live in a camper for half the year. My dad travels for work and lives in the camper all year round. Me, my mom, and my little sister, travel back and forth across the country. We’ve been doing this for about 4 years now. I cannot stand it. I cannot sit in my bed because I will knock myself out it I try to, my mom constantly listens to my conversations i have on the phone, and there’s no privacy. Me and my sister do have our own room, it’s not the living room thank god, but I constantly have back pain because of my 2 inch thick mattress. I like homeschooling, and I’ve been homeschooled long before we did this lifestyle. I’m not behind on anything, I’m actually ahead a couple of grades. But I can definitely confirm I’ve heard my parents do the horizontal tango like this camper is a couch in some basement. I can’t stand it, and everyone tells me, “Oh, you’ll have so many experiences other kids won’t” but the thing is, I don’t care about these experiences, I just wanna be and home. And western Oregon has absolutely no trees and it drives me crazy.
ОтветитьI hate the vast living difference between the kids and adults. Also FrogBait made me laugh nonstop
ОтветитьTen children?! For God's sake sell or eat some of them! That's way too many kids!
Sell some of those kids, the orphan crushing machine is hungry!
im sorry did that second video have NINE CHILDREN IN IT???? thats too many for even a normal sized house. let alone a VAN
ОтветитьAmericans are fucking insane
ОтветитьEven Harry Potter lived better than this lmao
ОтветитьThe parents have to have a private room how else are they going to make a new asset-i mean child
ОтветитьThis is all true, but I'd love to have your take on my childhood lol just rip them a good one. There were times when my mom and stepdad would rent a one bedroom hotel and have us sleep on the floor and have sex with us right there sometimes without the covers. If we wanted any kind of privacy we'd have to go to the bathroom. And our "home school" was nothing. Our mom gave us 2 spelling words once and that was the end. Our mom would brag that we got experiences. We would stay in the hotel while they went out
ОтветитьThe poster of this video is a spoiled self righteous brat making money by slamming other people. I find her repulsive. In my youth the only way almost all children had a bedroom to themself is if their siblings died. Today there are people who will abort their child if they can't have a second car in the garage and the children who live in those families know it and understand their worth when they pass by that second car. Do you think it makes the child feel warm and fuzzy and secure in parental love or respect others lives? I was just a kid when I ask my mother if she believed in abortion but the real question was do you really love me what am I worth. Many children today know that the sacrifice made so they could have a private space was made by an aborted sibling not the parents. My point isn't whether abortion is right or wrong but that the believe that abortion is right and its practice weaves itself in to the fabric of a child's psychology with, "I can sacrifice others to any degree for the sake of myself and I don't need to make room for others unless it serves me". These are the seeds of this poster's rant and shows she doesn't have enough respect for others to mind her own business. But hey, if she did she wouldn't be making the money she has. Would I live the way the subject family does - no - but how they choose to live is up to them not me and visa versa.
ОтветитьThat end screen is such a fucking vibe tho lmao
ОтветитьYeah... no more "thoughts and prayers" for the kids parents (victims?) when the parricide is broadcast live on social media.
ОтветитьCrazy life hack! Condoms or really any form of birth control is cheaper than a kid! So you don't have to drag this child or children on a teeny tiny bus and traumatize them :0 you can simply just.. Go on a bus with your partner... Without a kid.
ОтветитьNO… NOT THE HORIZONTAL TANGO…
ОтветитьKIDS SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR IN THE FIRST INE WHAT
ОтветитьI live in a camper which being a child whose siblings are gone just being me and my mom and dad it is still crowded it sucks
Ответить
