I understand why rings are lapped, but tube OD's and coating thicknesses on the tube surface vary a few thousandths. You would need to measure the tube being installed and have an assortment of slightly different mandrels to truly lap a perfect seat wouldn't you?

Next time please show balancing your AR and Scope before you loctite them down.  I dont know of anyone that would loctite the scope into the rings, if you later deside its not in proper position or use in a defferent set up ,it's going to show the dry residue from the glue and you dont want to sand or pick that off. BAD IDEA !!

having a ring mounted on your handguard and a bad idea.  mounting systems eliminate that.

So  Recoil  pushes back  and  you  mount  forward   to help  with that?.. . That  same  thinking  that  helps  you  with  recoil  works  better  at the  back  due  to the  fact that  the  mount can't  move  back  ... I 'm  not  starting anything  ...  but  I always  mount  my optics  to  the  back  to  start with... Help me understand ?

Should I not use a scope Riser on top of the existing rail. The reason why I did that was because it was awkward to grab my charging handle and hit my scope with my hand

Worse video ever! Show nothing. Worthless. Always refers to previous videos. LOL! Why not show the previous video into this video to help the viewer watching?

I heard that you should never mount optics on the hand guard. Any advice?

6 years out on this video, hope you’re using Vise Barrel jaws to secure the Upper Receiver Assembly?

First time I mounted my front ring on hand guard. Had about a 6" group at 50 yrds. Re mounted the ring on the receiver and got a 1" group at 100yrds. Just saying.
