Many times I get asked this question "Femikay, how's life after graduation in russia.

Well I will be discussing all the various options In this video.

So grab a popcorn and watch this video attentively till the end.


So in Russia there are 2 things you can do after graduation.

Terminate your student visa and exit

Or seek other option to stay here.


If you chose, or will be choosing the first route which is exiting,then you don't need this video at all.

But for those that'd be staying after their education. This video is a must watch!

1. So the first thing you can do after graduation is to apply for a residence permit.

So this process varies In Russia we have 2 types of diploma.

The red one and the Blue one

So the red one is what Africans call distinction or first class.

Meaning it signifies excellence.

The blue one on the other hand is also excellent but not distinction.
.
So here's where we are heading. If you have your red diploma, you can immediately apply for a permanent residence permit with the diploma (vnz).

And after getting it, you can work and after a year or 2 you can get the Russian passport itself.
.

But the best way is to apply for the Rvpo, this one is during your studies, you can apply with your school documents.

They usually require documents like

Passport, police report, spravka (proof that you study in the university), prikaz (an order from your university) , migration card, green card or dactyloscopy, registration, license, medical examination and some few other documents.

As a matter of fact I have the residence permit and If you need help with this I can personally help you or recommend you to a trusted agency that can help you figure this out.


So you can stay in Russia if you have any of these permits!

For me this is the best option!




2. Apply for work and get a work permit

Another way to stay here is to apply to a trusted job and get a work permit from them.

This can vary based on your employer terms and conditions in agreement with the immigration system.

So make sure you are already finding out about this before graduating.

So each jobs have what they require, but make sure it is a trusted agency or company you are relying on, so that they don't do you dirty!






3. Apply to further your studies

If you want to stay further and you are not able to achieve any of the above I've listed, then another option is to apply to further your studies

For some it may be bsc, or msc or PhD or to some redoing the language.

For me the best option is getting a very cheap university to redo the language till you are able to decide what next to do.

4. Apply for a scholarship.

Some people will be like Femikay is it that easy to get a scholarship?


Truth is based on my 5 years of experience in Russia scholarship is very easy if you are applying in Russia.

There are many scholarship options to choose from.

I personally have a scholarship assistant that can help you without any hassles so you can reach out and I'd refer you to her if you want trust.

But if you can do it yourself, go ahead and do it. I have many friends who have this scholarship based on their efforts and they are doing extraordinarily well. So grab this opportunity.




5. buy a property or get married.


So another way to stay here is to get married or buy a property.

So I'm merging this two together because they are the most extreme.

For me I don't believe you have to get married to be qualified as a citizen somewhere or get a property to stay somewhere.

If you follow all the steps I listed there, youd be able to stay in Russia with no issues at all.

But if you are left with this options, you can grab them and you'd be able to stay in Russia.


Conclusion.


I'm Russia they want you to have a reason to stay here, just like any other country would do.

So don't live as an illegal immigrant. Take these steps and trust me, you'd be so happy you took these steps.
