I’m watching this on June 29, 2024. I’ve been a subscriber and big fan for years now, and I’ve watched Anton evolve into a great creator and video producer. As a giant space nerd, I subscribe to many channels that contain astronomy and astrophysics content. Most just regurgitate the same images, talking points, and the dullest commentary, but Anton is a creator of the best quality and authenticity! The subject matter is quite complex and the vast majority of people don’t understand the science because it is usually presented in an unnecessarily complicated way, which doesn’t help anyone to learn about the wonders of outer space and the universe itself. Anton is a wonderful teacher and he breaks down the most complex topics into a digestible manner for everyone to understand and enjoy! I think he should have MANY MORE SUBSCRIBERS!
ОтветитьThese stars could be the missing link between red dwarfs and brown dwarfs?
ОтветитьThe only good thing I think of super flares is that if the Sun has one the odds are 50% it would be on the far hemisphere of the Sun and not zap the Earth
ОтветитьMagneticfield connected and disconnected the super fire fare up leading to dim and dip bright star.
ОтветитьAbsence of magneticfield hot gas initiating super flares increasing radiation and temperature.
ОтветитьCarrington Event may happen again as happened on 1859.
ОтветитьDim dip bright star due to solar flares with high nuclear fusion.
ОтветитьL type star.
ОтветитьUsg 6249 brown star with super power flare up.
Ответитьi have believed in these forever its only way to make a black hole make sense nothing is ever destroyed only transmuted
ОтветитьBest to live deep inside that planet on the dark side.
ОтветитьMega flares are also the best way to detect very far away red dwarfs stars.
ОтветитьHow it feels to have a migrain
ОтветитьWonderful tiny deadly star
ОтветитьOrange Dwarf?
ОтветитьThank you wonderful person! Hopefully no Mega Flares will happen in our lifetime. Otherwise we won't be able to see your wonderful videos!
ОтветитьWould a planet being subjected to flares on such a regular basis be able to hold onto an atmosphere?
ОтветитьThis observation justifies the relevance for intelligent design of our solar system. Our solar system resembles a well constructed laboratory for the creation of life. The earth has the perfect sun, the perfect big brother 'Jupiter' plus we never experience an unstable event from our star.
ОтветитьWhat if a planet was actually a moon around a gas giant like Jupiter, which had a very powerful magnateic field? I think it might be ok then.
ОтветитьI would imagine life, that leaves the ocean or the underground as being covered with a shield from kind of ceramic better than tooth material, maybe with some heavy metal built in. Antimagnetic of course.
ОтветитьANTON...You sir are the astrophysics BOMB for us laymen! Keep up the GREAT work.
PS.... You are the reason I upgraded my laptop and downloaded Space Engine.... Lovin it! Thank you!
I had a flair up in the poop room of a truck stop today. It was an epic explosion of force from my brown star poop ringer. A small child cried upon witnessing this glorious expulsion of matter. Peace be upon you all.
ОтветитьIt's a bread dwarf
ОтветитьAnton excuse my username just wanted to say how hard working and brilliant you are, a good combo. Theese videos bring me a moment of wonder that few things can match theese days
keep[ killing it keep beastin it runningthegame
Along these lines, you should look into "micro-nova" or a "solar flash " Unlike a solar flare that is a result of breaking magnetic lines of force, a micro nova is caused (possibly) by a sudden release of energy deep within the core of the star. It isn't enough to blast the star to bits as in a nova or super nova, but it causes the star to eject a huge amount of plasma and charged particles. It's a bit of a fringe theory but there are some that believe our Sun experiences one of these interior explosions around every 12,000 years. The models indicate that a star cools significantly after a micro nova and a 12,000 year cycle actually coincides with the timing of the major ice ages on Earth.
ОтветитьSo, there's nothing intrinsically different about a star from a planet except for its massiveness, (which triggers its internal fusion)? If increasing Jupiter's mass could turn it into a star, as he mentions...
ОтветитьWhat the hell do you use on your face. Your skin is perfect?
Ответитьnot very bright is he
ОтветитьWhen you said that a small star nearby had a flare, I thought "Whats Proxima done now"!
ОтветитьTitan. Titan is the largest of Saturn's moons and the first to be discovered. ...
ОтветитьI'm a fan of saying, "Hello, Wonderful person". You rock. Please keep it up sir:)
ОтветитьHey I like this guy I think he really know more thin others of what his talking about
ОтветитьBummer, that would have fixed everything.
ОтветитьWe only exist here because we have evolved to do so. If life exists on such a planet experiencing daily increases in radiation from solar flares, that life would have had to have evolved to either passively endure it or actively rely on it, in the same way we rely on the magnetic forces of our planet which might not exist on others. It's interesting to think about, but when people start to claim that life couldn't exist somewhere simply because they're seeing it through only our experience on Earth I'm reminded of the creatures thriving around deep sea vents and the Mariana Trench. We should never make assumptions about where life can and cannot exist.
ОтветитьThe Carrington Event would be devastating if it happened in our time line, it would be like a EMP bomb blowing out all electrical circuits. Lucky back then the only electricity was the Telegraph lines that got fried.
ОтветитьThis draws has gone supersayan 2 i guess xD
Ответить...Exploding double layers.
ОтветитьDude, please stop saying actually and actual so much. Things are what they are, the only reason they are actually something is when they seem to be something else at first. Yeah, I know, grammar nazi, but it's annoying in any audio presentation. Write down your audio and you'll see what I mean. The generation before yours used "like" too much in the same way. Mine says "man" too much, lol.
ОтветитьSeems sort of like lightening striking.
Ответитьwell we didnt JUST see it..i mean..its light years away, so what we saw happen, happened many many years ago.
ОтветитьHello wonderful pearson
ОтветитьTen times LESS!? Always hated that statement, it's totally moronic. One-tenth, for Christ's sake.
ОтветитьFake
ОтветитьWhen your working outside and you say "God damn its hot!"
mega flare sterilizes the entire planet
Is it possible for our sun to release such a Mega Deadly Corona Mass Ejection that it actually breaks our magnetic field?
Ответитьirlts just a 3d animation
ОтветитьYour so sexy
Ответить
