And black lotus is banned in every single format
ОтветитьBasically, most cards in magic are going to look bad in a yugioh players point of view while most cards in Yu-Gi-Oh are going to look overpowered in a magic players point of view
ОтветитьI cant find thia video anywhere does anyone know what its called?
ОтветитьBut isn’t the issue that black lotus is discarded?
ОтветитьI’m not sure the value of three mana, but the way I interpret is if this was in yugioh is like discard one card for an extra normal summon lmao
ОтветитьOkay this whole "yugioh cards are free" thing nerds a check, yes theres no mana but the cost is the card advantage, ideally you'd want all your cards to go net zero or +1 but some required are -1 or -2 etc, just because we dont have a resource system doesnt mean its "free".
Think of how fast the game is in comparison to mtg, y'all can basically have breakfast and lunch together so of course you're version of cost is different.
Anyways rant over 🙄
Everybody knows what lotus is
ОтветитьThe thing that makes lotus broken, is that you can just keep snagging it back from the gy over and over.
ОтветитьCan someone explain why mtg players hate on yugioh players (hate is strong but lack of a better term) I mean I play both causally but when I look at the pro side of both games all I see is broken mechanics left and right 😂
ОтветитьI own an original like, first print, black lotus
ОтветитьWhat does the last line of these cards mean?
ОтветитьWtf is a Yugioh?
ОтветитьI think you misunderstood his confusion what he meant to say "i don't think being stuck with one color isn't as important as your getting 3 vs 1" and what you said he took as: "you can make any 3 commination".
ОтветитьBlack Lotus is the one card I desperately want over anything
ОтветитьIf there is one problem in Lotus is that it sacrifices and doesn't stay like the moxes. Still broken, but if it gets past turn 4 (and you dont reuse your lotus somehow) you got more advantage out of the mox
Ответить"I summon POT OF GREED!"
Ответитьbur you did not mention the sacrifice
Ответитьim pretty sure the Moxes are more expensive cuz they dont get discarded like black Lotus does
ОтветитьHow do you have those cards?
ОтветитьThis isn’t in the linked video!!
ОтветитьI have a mox opal for my metalcraft artefact deck😁. Plus all the the etherium artifices and grand architwat 😅. It’s disgusting. Was almost tempted to get a tinker.
ОтветитьTo be fair, you have to sacrifice blacklotus to get 3 mana of any ONE color (meaning that you choose 1 color and get 3 mana of that color, not of any combination)
It is still the best card in the game hands down, but it is one use only (unless you have recursion of course)
there have been so many iterations of black lotus that are still overpowered in a lot of contexts like the mox set, lions eye diamond, and mana crypt/mana vault are all still op even after being so nerfed from lotus
ОтветитьYeah one of the most expensive when you literally had just talked about THE most expensive no wonder you kept going back to it lol
ОтветитьThe advantage the the moxes have over lotus is moxes are reusable and lotus is one time use
ОтветитьWait is it Thoralf
One of best 3 Magic The Noah players?
Mox are 1/3 of infinite 😅
ОтветитьCan only use it once in a game. It's ok
ОтветитьI knew a guy that had 2 black lotuses and i dont know many moxes in one if his decks. Guy was an animal.
ОтветитьThe card that turns magic into yugioh is phantasmogorion iykyk
ОтветитьPersonally, I'd prefer to have moxes in play rather than a lotus. Without recursion the lotus only works once, the moxes are just another land drop. In the long run you get more value from moxes than the lotus unless your deck focuses on consistent artifact reanimation
ОтветитьFunny enough you could run 50 on them in a deck at one point
ОтветитьI have a question that doesn't nessarily pertain to this video. I'm aware of the huge hobby of collecting and trading cards. When people are buying these extremely expensive cards like "black lotus", do they actual play with them? Like, are the highest levels of magic card games just two people playing with a 3 foot tall deck of graded slabs?! It seems like when a card is that valuable, it becomes obsolete because no one is going to play a deck worth that much.
ОтветитьThis is just Pot of Greed. Yet ppl act like its Blue Eyes..
ОтветитьBlack Lotus and Pot of Greed are BFFs x)
ОтветитьPot of greed but it draws 3😂
ОтветитьSo if I'm understanding this right... Black Lotus is Pot of Greed?
ОтветитьWhat I got from that this is the MTG analogue of Maxx C and Mulcharmies, Maxx C lets you draw 1 everytime a monster is summoned, meanwhile Mulcharmies are basically Maxx C split into 3 different cards and depending on the card used it allows you to draw whenever a monster is summoned from certain parts of your deck or hand
ОтветитьIts just unnerfed innervate. Innervate and force of nature svage roar was the only reason druid was playable on vanilla. Ramp druid was fun back when dropping an 8/8 on turn 6 was a win condition
ОтветитьGuy looks at cards, and knows instantly that these are good. Sounds like a pretty good player to me.
ОтветитьBut you do have to sack it though.
ОтветитьBlack Lotus I pretty expensive card can be priced around 20k €
ОтветитьIn vintage, its almost debatable as to whether black lotus is the best card. Ancestral and time walk are pretty good, and often better than a mox.
Its all very nuanced though, and not something a simpleton like myself could ever hope to learn.
I love like people who dont get the point in YGO talk about YGO.
Ответитьthose cards dont feel very magical tbh
ОтветитьThis aint pot of greed, this is pot of government 😭🙏
ОтветитьSpecial summoning and mana stacking are both so broken. Just set them on a timer if you are going to pendulum summon. Blue has a flip ability like this.
Ответить“It turns Magic into Yugioh”
Pot of Greed: *laughs maniacally*
Black lotus is lame af....
ОтветитьBlack Lotus is so good that half of the "fixed" versions of the card they've made were ALSO broken and got banned
Ответить
