How to make coffee:
1 table spoon of Nescafé
Little bit of sugar like half tea spoon
1 tea spoon of creamer

That is cheap and easy

how the hey do you get the paper taste out of the natural filters? I've tried and tried and it is still overwhelmingly papery

I have never made my coffee with filtered water but my water comes from a spring box and really love the taste of my water. I am sure filtered water would give it a different flavor. I have of course a filter in the fridge so could try it from there. (Also I do have a simple particle filter just no multi stage filter as again - I have a spring box and it is wonderful water).

Esp. Rinsing the paper filter before adding the coffee.
I have a stainless steel filter here
and I wonder if I should still use the paper filter, I guess I need to experiment. Interesting to not use boiling hot water. Next: shopping for ground coffee, again, experimenting is the word..
