Charles Tournemire - L'Orgue Mystique № 1 - Toccata

A very fine performance of a neglected Tournemire movement; gentle and beautiful.

Prachtig gespeeld. Onthechte muziek. Onderschat. Niet virtuoos genoeg voor de "toccata"liefhebber. Deze generatie Fransen hadden toch hét patent op deze kleurenrijkdom... en wat komt het orgel mooi uit!...

Thank you very much for sharing this. It's one of my favourite L'Orgue Mystique movements. The melody for Conditor Alme Siderum has a certain charm to it, which Tournemire managed to enhance in a really compelling way.

I remember recording this very piece in 2009 in Paris. I adore it!
