I do understand why you changed your mindset but honestly, you seem to be having so much more fun in these videos!

I’m really sad I never knew this was a Scientology movie, I try not to support John Travolta, being that he’s a key player with the cult, but I watched this movie back in the day and again after seeing Nostalgia Critics review of it. Hate it even more now if that’s at all possible.

John Travolta's suit from this movie was/ is in the library of my undergraduate college, SDSU. I saw it many times during my years there and it still never tempted me to watch this movie haha

well, first off the movie felt like a bad episode of a cheap poorly done sci-fi show. secondly I don’t know which was worse watching this movie or the cringe review by Chris

It was crap but entertaining crap. I managed to watch it all the way through..i couldn't say the same for any of the crap Marvel efforts they churn out now, true dross

I just finished it and the dialouge being clunky and a rather confusing story with alot of people i didnt know the names of, and i loved every second of this mess 🤣🤣

im one of the people that dont hate this movie. i actually rather enjoy it its one of my favs. my dad first showed me this movie not long after it came out and we both enjoyed it. ive seen this movie 8 or 9 times and it never gets old. it was only years later that i found out how much of a bomb it was and how literally everybody just takes a giant dump on it and i dont get it. some parts are kinda meh i agree but i dont think its anywhere near as bad as everyone says. you cant take this movie literally and factually i think thats what the problem is. until just recently i didnt even know this movie was based on scientology or even what it was. idc about all that crap. the dutch angles? i dont have to tilt my head to still see whats going on so thats not even an issue. the fighter jets still being operational? of course they wouldnt be but who cares? its a sci fi movie lol ya gotta learn to just go with it and i think thats what a lot of people have a problem doing

The getting shot and going through glass thing made me think of blade runner

How about the fact that its supposed to take place in the year 3000 but it looks more like it happened 30 years ago.

This entire movie script looks like something I would have written when I was 12 or 13.

For anyone that didn’t see this movie in theatres, picture the face you make when you drink orange juice after brushing your teeth. Not imagine 50 of those faces and 150 empty seats. That pretty much sums it up.

The "NEW AND IMPROVED" chris would give this movie a C+ and call it worth watching on tv

The book though is very good actually. Especially in audio version, they did an impressive job - each character has his own voice actor, narrator is great and the story quite captivating.

It looks like a SyFy Channel movie that they play on Saturday afternoons....

Sigh........ I like this stupid film. Have easily watched it 3 times. It is awful it is just a scientology vanity project. But I like the premise. And I love how ridiculous Travolta is.

I love when, especially really ridiculous movies like this, the characters are just referred to as their real world actor names. Lol

It's underrated. What's wrong with it?? The dutch angles? It's no less gay than any other sci-fi shit. It's a really good premise. You are all man animals who are just going along with everybody else.

My "favourite" memory of this monstrosity is when they find a 1000 year-old Harrier jumpjet, press a button to start the engine and fly off in it. That has to be the absolute dumbest idea ever to appear in a story, never mind a movie.

Damn stuck man you're really silly in this review! I actually like the movie, I had never seen anything like it!
