LEGO HORIZON ADVENTURES Is Incredible On PS5 Pro

Glad you enjoyed the game, Brad. Sadly, it was a miss for me (I tried and failed to get my money refunded). I picked it up expecting all the usual gameplay in a Lego game: red brick & character collection, character specific abilities, level replayability, enjoyable brick destruction and building, and so on, but alas, all of that was largely absent from this game.

Instead I found repetitive linear levels and little forward momentum. I love how grounded and level Aloy is in the Horizon games and found it difficult to align with this new version of her where she's essentially Tiny Tina from Borderlands. Even so, the game is visually stunning and lots of people seem to be enjoying it, which is great. I just hope players who expect a traditional Lego game know to expect much less going in so they don't feel their money was wasted as I do. 😮‍💨

Seems nice, thing is, I noticed something, there are so many annoying overly chatty and hyper characters in media these days that I have gotten sick of the archetype.
Despite it being fine sometimes, I feel like it is overdone these days, and now especially with this bratty stuff being normalized,
to the point of actors like Rachel Zegler seeing no issue with her behaviour, it's just annoying.

Idk who came up with the idea of (literally) building a new Horizon world within the Lego universe, but I’d love to give that person a big hug and thank them for making me feel like a kid again. Playing this game with my daughter and laughing together makes me so happy ❤
