I also bought the book after seeing the Netflix series ❤ it was so beautiful and the best preteen coming of age story from a girl’s perspective. It was so calming and I’m just sad that I didn’t have a series like this to watch at that age. Even as an adult, it really was profound to see the young girls find their inner strengths.

I felt so connected to the way you talked and felt about reading Anne and the way you annotated! I love doing it but I had never done it like this before! I drew branches on every Anne’s dialogue that I loved (basically all of them lol), I underlined almost the entire book with green highlighter and I used A LOT of sticky notes. I did it because I knew that’s what Anne would have done and it felt so right and it was so fun so I related so much to your video 🥹 it’s the first time I relate to someone doing heavy annotation 💚 and I also watched the series first so I was comparing them a lot too and I’m feeling so happy about the fact that the vibe is so similar 🥹 (I haven’t finished it cause I don’t want it to end haha I’m having the time of my life 💚), another thing I related to with your video ☺️ and I knew it was my favorite book even though I hadn’t even started it just because of the show 🥹 I absolutely loved your video!
