As an Italian I can say that the pizza prices here are rarely above 8 $ and if you don't go to tourist traps that's the price for almost every tipical dish and you can get a prosecco bottle for around 20 dollars

We traveled South America for 10 months last year and the most expensive hostel we were in was like 15$ p.P and the average was around 10$ … can get a lot cheaper

Food and wine can be very cheap in Spain in general, of course if you go for low budget stuff or locally produced . Nerja is a tourist coastal town therefore not cheap!👎🏻
