ОтветитьI'm mexican and never had sofrito before till I bought some from the store it was jarred and it tasted like tomato ragu I feel like thats not what its supposed to taste like am I right
ОтветитьNice! But how do you get your nails to grow so long😍
Ответитьthank you Tia Ida <3
ОтветитьHey there. Hold a wooden toothpick between your teeth when you cut an onion. The wood will absorb the onion and it will not burn your eyes 😉 Love the video. I’m so inspired to grown my own Sofrito veggies!!
ОтветитьIDA,
You're a Rock Star...
I love your P.R. Rice W/ Gondules .. I've never seen anybody prepared the way you do.
I think I'm going to make it this Christmas keep on coming thanks
very similar to how we make ours... very nice!
Ответитьthank you for sharing 😬
ОтветитьI love your recipes they are the best!!!
Ответить❤Yummm.mmm I haven't cooked PR food for whiles. Thank you for your time and sharing your recipe ideas.🙏
ОтветитьIt's not necessary to go into an essay on each vegetable and ingredient. Just stfu and cook
ОтветитьI use a blender but on it's lowest setting comes out the same as a food processor and it's easier to pour into the ice cube trays
ОтветитьLet’s talk about your NAILS😍😍 Very very healthy and gorgeous omg🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽✨✨✨✨
ОтветитьI've been making this for years and it's amazing 🤩
ОтветитьWOW! Thats so amazing!😊
ОтветитьI cut the ingredients in half to make it for the first time in my home and it smells amazing I cannot wait to use it tonight 🙌🏽
ОтветитьRecao, woman Recao, she is a fake P.R.
ОтветитьYours is the only recipe I use it’s fantastic thank you so much just wanted to know my last batch they only culantro I was able to find most of them were brown is that ok to still use them I washed super good
ОтветитьYour videos I love rewatching over there years. My fav is arroz con gandules. 🤗
ОтветитьAida, woman, you had me at the Alcapurias, the Pasteles, the Arroz con Gandules, and you have me at this
tres leches cake!!! I am so excited to surprise mi familia with sheer Puerto Rican magic!!! I will honestly be a busy "JewBaRican " getting ready for a Great Shabbat Estilo PuertoRiquen`o BOOM! XOXO
You says 1 week in refrigerator. How long can you store it in the freezer?
ОтветитьThank you for this video I've been really wanting to make my own Sofrito and my niece in Florida sent me her ingredients of the way she makes it as well but I thank you ladies for taking your time is it explaining everything listen I can cook Spanish food very well but I'm about to make my sofrito and just keep it up in my freezer so I don't have to go to the store and buy any and may I give you a compliment you have the most beautiful healthy nails that I've seen on a person in a long time they are beautiful
Ответить12/22 lost my friends mother’s recipe. Your’s is great
I’m originally from the South Changing up and making this to serve with my black eyed peas New Year day.
Happy 2023 to you.
Thanks 🎉
This came out AMAZING!!!🎉
ОтветитьYou can still make this in a blender… my sofrito (which I use EXACTLY the same ingredients) always comes out thick and not liquefied.
ОтветитьWill try it
ОтветитьJust word of caution there’s peppers that look like the sweet peppers but are spicey.
ОтветитьGreat video however, living in the Pacific Northwest (WA State), we do not have culantro at all! I always have to wait to visit my mom in MA and make these over there! Anyone has any idea if we could grow these where I am at? I've tried at home... doesn't even work! 😞
ОтветитьTrue story, if you run your onion under cold water you won't get the sting in your eyes.
ОтветитьReplay crew. Better late than never. Love you ❤❤
ОтветитьI'm trying to make sofrito in a blender(a cheap one at that) It's my chopping up all the ingredients I bought. Can you help me or do I cut them up by hand?
ОтветитьI think the texture is all good makes a big difference into dishes
Ответитьcan sofrito be frozen. there is only two of us and we do not eat a lot at one time,
ОтветитьSalt and oil for stability if you like to freeze in cubes like me.
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьIn the video you didn't say how many of each pepper for the recipe. Please advise?
ОтветитьThis video is amazing
ОтветитьGoing to make a big batch and freeze it in a big freezer bag. When it’s a little frozen I’ll use a chopstick to outline some squares since I don’t have so many ice trays
ОтветитьAida is my mother’s name too
ОтветитьYou have presented this so excellent, but I will see that you gave away our secret
ОтветитьI'm Italian but I'm nearly married to a Puerto Rican man and I want to be able to start making some Puerto Rican dishes. Does anyone know where I can get some of the harder to find ingredients?
ОтветитьHi.Going to make your pasteles I already have the meat cubed and seasoned overnight.
I love your idea to use food processor for sofrito going to give it a try
I like the texture of your sofrito !
To funny i use icecube trays too I thought I invented this idea😂
Making pasteles is mucho trabajo but so worth it ❤
How long does it stay good in freezer
