I have followed Grant Williams for many years. He and I share similar investment philosophies. I have listened to his interview of Tony Deden in the Swiss Alps several years ago many times and taken notes. For those who have not seen it, I highly recommend. I am 77 yrs young and remain active in our PE fund, so have witnessed the changes in the US and the World financial system. Grant & Adam continue the good work and sound advise. For now though, I believe we will continue to see the same old Fed play book. In my view, the World would be better without any of them. Thanks again.

Interesting interview. My one strong disagreement with Grant is his position of Putin and Trump. Putin has a strong grip on Trump's sack. He having Russia TV show Melania in the buff is a strong message to Trump that info he has on Trump will be released (and I don't mean just pp tapes, there is a lot more) unless Trump gives in to all of Putin's demands. If Trump gives in (Chamberlain style), if would bode bad for all of Eastern Europe and eventually all of Europe. Trump worked hard to weaken NATO for Putin, but Biden did rebuild NATO for the greater European democracies. This situation should unwind in just a few months. Many hope it does not end in a blood bath in Ukraine. The transactional Trump really does not care at all what happens to the Ukrainian people.

Lots of platitudes about things that we've known about for a long time. Not worth the effort of listening.

This man is spot on..

It's laughable that regular people would be asked to take economic pain when they have been robbed blind by Wall Street, war profiteers and the government.

1. Anyone thinking there can be peace between Israel and Hamas is delusional. The most of you can get between Russia and Ukraine is a ceasefire.
2. Like small businesses don't try to inflate their value when they sell them. The stock markets want growth and not dividends. You have the bond market for income that the government more or less destroyed. Given the success of companies like Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc it makes sense to invest for growth. We are not yet in 1980 when inflation destroyed the majority of businesses and there was a huge macro shift that you could pick up value for pennies.

Grant, understanding that there is an evolving powerful industry that drives and controls the market, it won't change. The govts know the importance of this industry on their economies. They haven't and won't make any fundamental changes. It's too dangerous.

Stock buybacks are all about bonus payouts and option triggers. The easy way for mgt to get paid, rather than invest in product, plant & labor and EARN the bonuses because the business has been improved.

Peace talks. Now that is something new.

Totally agree on the speculator vs investor clarification. Too long we have been dished the investment strategy when it is pure speculation.

From a Canadian perspective (whatever that is worth) the point of the interview where Adam makes the case for Trump "pulling it off" and Grant implying the perception of almost zero probability of this occuring. I perceive that this a big difference of the US psyche and the ROW. I admire the US for this; but, it's not all benefit without cost. The dream of extricating folks from the grasps of the Old World hegemony and then "American Exceptionalism" and my perception that regular European folks take on their master's view that this gauche...is similar to stockholm syndrome.

Has Mr Williams ever heard of Neville Chamberlain and "Peace for our time"? Might there be any lessons to be learnt from that episode?

Asking regular folks to sacrifice when the elites and super rich sacrifice nothing will accelerate the 4th turning. And it will not be pretty for those folks

Why does capital leave the US when someone sells their shares in US companies to someone else?

I just never understood what Grand Williams is about even tho he's been around for years. He's not a successful businessman nor bestselling author nor PM dealer nor hedge fund manager nor former CIA operative nor lawyer nor anything! Why do we have to listen to some "analyst" that doesn't get anything right?

I've been a hard money dude peter schiff sub for almost 2 decades. When I went to geta pair of new wiper blades at autozone and paid almost 40 bucks for the cheapest ones I know for sure the crisis is upon us. They raised our car insurance 200 a year and nothing has changed. Whole chickens went front 79 a lb to 1.40. Chuck steak from 5 to 8 over the past couple years. I have noticed a huge surge in prices this month also. Good luck happy Thanksgiving

The fatigue is the increasing number of bloodthirsty dictator wannabes taking power. The world needs a revolutionary change away from the current structure. We need to end the current leadership paradigm and move towards a matriarchal approach that leans towards global wellbeing and cooperation; not dog eat dog competition.
