But who really cares I share some of the same sentiments but these coaches are changing people's lives just like bishops etc who cares everyone's gotta make a living doing something. It ain't all gotta make sense to everybody 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm just over it, live and let live.

I'm super glad I found your channel! I just finished a certification for nutrition and plan eventually to get my CPT certification. This info is very helpful!

Love your videos! I've been watching for a week or two and love your perspective.

Two observations have been rolling around in my brain for a while.
1) The question of "What's the harm if they can make money?" I think the answer is that in this situation and in MLMs for "coaches" to make money coaching coaches there have to be losers. There must be people who spend the money on the courses, masterminds, or whatever and only ever lose money. If those people didn't exist there would be no money to be made. The same goes for MLMs, if there aren't people losing money in downlines the whole system collapses. In legitimate industries, you get something tangible in return for your money rather than the gibberish offered by coaches and MLM reps.

2) The idea that educational content is soooooo easy to just put together. This one is a bit personal for me since I'm a teacher but, the reality is that educating people is a skill, putting together material that has pedagogical value, and presenting it in a way that is effective isn't something that everyone innately has. Knowing how to do something and showing someone how to do something are two very different things. This means that there are mountains of "educational" content out there that is truly worthless. I will couch this second point by saying that there are lots of people who do not have a background in education who are great teachers! There are people who have expertise who are very good at transferring that knowledge to others, I just get annoyed when I see gurus telling people to just slap together a course like it's nothing.

Anyways, thanks for coming to my TED talk.
:)

I hate the coaching pyramid. I’m a relationship coach but I have (one) appointment with a person > get a good understanding of the situation > give that person very specific information & techniques to get that specific relationship back to good. It’s different info depending on the person’s situation because no 2 relationships are identical. But I’m CONSTANTLY getting ads from people trying to sell me “learn how to be a coach” programs. Omg. It’s ridiculous! I hate it, I get at least 15-20 a week in my emails alone. I think they buy a list of actual coaches and email the hell out of us or something. 😅

“Know your worth and charge people a lot of money.”

Do they hear themselves? 🤦‍♀️

Am on a binge on this channel 😂. I hate with a passion any form of marketing that is about showing stripe dashboards. It's insensitive to people that are struggling also they forget they have a sizeable audience and loads of paid marketing budget.

I've been seeing this with affiliate marketing on TikTok where people are talking about "how much money they're making" and the way they "show" people how "they can do that too" they always point to an affiliate link to an affiliate marketing class where they're taught how to do affiliate marketing...

Totally bingeing these videos. I was “in” from 2015-2020, with one foot sort of in until 2021. Between therapy, a few folks on Instagram, and various podcasts and books I’m still making sense of things. Anti-MLM helped too.

I have such a similar story- I had a yoga studio for 4 years and got pulled into the “sex money magic cult” and it was so effing weird. I got scammed, traumatized and confused the fuck out of my audience. I’ve found out later that my actual online yoga biz was making 2-3x as much as the bullshit “money coaches” when they signed me on and lied about how much they were making. These people are their own terrible genre.

Manifestation Babe rehashes and uses stuff from other people without their knowledge or consent.

She was giving away a digital product for free, that “Sarah prout” had created. I reached out to Sarah to let her know that manifestation babe was giving away her product that you had to pay for, for free. Sarah had no idea!! WTF?!! Who does that?!

Also in her manifest $1000 book. One of her exercises is from Denise Duffield Thomas’ money Boot Camp. I know because I am in money Boot Camp. Denise uses Ho’oponopono as a forgiveness exercise to manifest money. And Denise teaches the Ho’oponopono saying in a specific different way than anywhere else taught online, And that’s the way manifestation babe teaches it in her book. Right away I knew she had copied it from Denise.

It just makes me think that every single thing she teaches, she stole from other people.

I am an ex yoga teacher as well, I ran a cleaning business to fund the yoga business and eventually burnt out and now I'm a paralegal because it's easier. I agree with you NO ONE will ever brag about how much money they have or make if they actually have it.

The ones I watch don't believe in junk science.. Its not like a birthday wish.. It take hard work.. I am an empath and am tapped in to the universe.. Way before tik tok or any of that.. If i didnt see it in action with little mental changes and i am not positive patty I still have terrible negative feelings.. I hate that you were scammed.. And your opinion is absolutely valid. Science isn't everything.. And i am super science nerdy nerd.. Lol i believe in what I see and what I feel and I hope you find out that some of us aren't trying to make money of it.. I cant show you proof but ill come back here in a year and if my store has got where I want it (20k in first yr btw) and i get monetized on here (I have 4 subscribers and 152 like across my shorts I jus started in January) then let's see if we can get a peer case study done! I'll never tell you your wrong.. I hope I can prove I'm not either! Take care!

If you make claims about "Making thousands of Dollars" I will tell you that that FTC & SEC (in the US) is REALLY cracking down on that stuff. They are out looking and coaches should be on notice. I am a coach and I sleep very well at night because I make no such claims even if I do give my clients a ton of value and results.

Wow… some of these clips of those coaches are… sorry to say it… CRINGE…

Money is AIR?!? Whhhhat?

And I’m a long time manifestation Hippy myself…
That just makes the spiritual community look soooooo fake and it completely discredits those who actually work in the spiritual space… I’ve been in energy work and working within the spiritual space for 10 years.

There is more to money than just air… 🫠🫠🫠

I fully understand what she was trying to articulate… but dangggg if she just would have taken a few moments to think about what she wanted to say… BEFORE saying it…

Because… #1 those manifestation beliefs aren’t correct, the way she stated it. She’s oversimplifying it at best, at worst… she’s flat out lying. #2 she makes the whole spiritual community look like charlatans. #3 Now that clips lives on the internet FOREVER… 😅

And I fully support letting people “believe,” whatever they believe, as long as it’s not causing harm…

But if your coaching people for MONEY… you shouldn’t just going around making fantastical statements and claims like money means NOTHING… money is air… etc 😑😑😑

Soooo are all of these people sociopaths or are they just deluded? 🤔
And to answer your question, I 100% agree that not everyone has the time or monetary resources to devote to endless research on how to make money on the internet. In some ways, it's like trying to learn a new language. Most people aren't self-taught, and you don't know what you don't know. I am shocked and appalled by the proliferation of these get rich quick schemes. And they persist because people - even those of us who are smart and educated - keep falling for them. And this is because no one can do it alone, so we look to those with a particular are of expertise for guidance. But discerning those who are credible and those who are merely self-serving opportunists is not always intuitive. When you are desperate and impatient, you are much less likely to think critically. This is not a flaw; it's just the way we operate as humans.

I think you’re too easy on these people who don’t sound very smart or even well prepared to me. They take a real concept and show how little they know about it .they clearly have not even read any of the good books out there. I think the plan is that if they get 2 or 3 clients a year they’re doing better than they did before.

Sorry does anyone really believe a landlord is selling a house way below market value to a tenant just like that and his girlfriend is a retired MD who is now a life coach? It’s so purely fiction snd just doesn’t make sense.
