Marie really pulled the old switch-a-roo with the meatball recipe 😢 to make Debra's meatballs taste bad. Not very nice of Marie 😢. Marie tried so hard to try to get rid of Debra as much as she can. Debra just wanted to read a book. I was glad Marie slapped Ray when he put down Debra with her "women's problems". He definitely had it coming to him. Marie had some nerve bringing in the Priest. Marie had to get married because she got pregnant before she & Frank were married.

I loved this guy who played the priest in this show.

That whole Debra screaming at her mom in front of everyone, wishing she was like her husband's mom, and then storming off says a lot about her character... I liked Debra, and she had a lot to put up with, but she was definitely no saint...

A question: If Ally was keeping her crayons in the canister, wouldn't the canister smell of crayon? The crayon scent is pretty distinctive. Marie would have known that Frank's nuts and bolts were not responsible for that smell.

Ray had a toxic family and was himself toxic. I felt bad for Debra. All made fun of Debra's cooking only so that mary has a higher stand on something.

Lightning in a bottle, everytime i watch this show i am so reminded of the parallels I draw with my family. And we are Indian. Just shows how families around the world share so many similarities.
